Businessmen kidnapped an employee of a finance company to recover their money given for getting loan

• The kidnapped employee rescued safely from Greater Noida and all five accused persons arrested.

With the arrest of five accused persons namely (1) Neeraj Verma aged 26 years s/o Ashok Verma r/o Sat Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi (Proprietor of M/s Dron Enterprises); (2) Harshit Arya aged 23 years s/o Ved Prakash r/o Sat Nagar, Karol Bagh, Delhi (Part time employee of M/s Dron Enterprises); (3) Rahul Vats aged 24 years s/o Ashok Kumar Vats r/o New Basti, Behind Police Station Dankaur, Gautam Bugh Nagar, Greater Noida, UP (An employee of Neeraj Verma and works in his factory in Greater Noida); (4) Arjun Dhawan aged 30 years s/o Arun Dhawan r/o Western Avenue, Sainik Farm, New Delhi (Proprietor of Grand Impression Pvt. Ltd., C-126, 2nd Floor, Gali No. 1, Naraina, New Delhi) and (5) Inderjeet Arya aged 40 years s/o Bhagwan Singh r/o Street No.2, Mahavir Enclave, Palam, Delhi (An employee of Arjun Dhawan), the staff of Police Station Kalkaji, South-East District has solved a case of kidnapping of an employee of M/s Success Financial Services, K-55A, Basement, Kalkaji, New Delhi.  

INCIDENT

On 06.09.16, Sh. Indra Narain Kamat s/o Sh. Ram Kripal Kamat r/o B-103/3, Shivam Colony, Near Theka Ishmail Pur, Faridabad, Haryana visited PS Kalkaji and reported that his brother-in-law (Jija) Vinod Kumar Kamat aged 45 years s/o Sh. Rajeshwar Mandal (residing in the same house) who works at M/s Success Financial Services, K-55A, Basement, Kalkaji, New Delhi had gone to his office on 05.09.16 but he did not come back home in the night. On the basis of above information, a missing report was lodged on 06.09.16 at PS Kalkaji and further proceedings were initiated.

On 07.09.16, Sh. Indra Narain Kamat again visited PS Kalkaji and moved a complaint and suspected that her brother-in-law has been kidnapped by his employer Satish Dhingra and Ratnakar, an employee of the same company. On the basis of above allegation, a case vide FIR No. 519/16 dated 07.09.16 u/s 365 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION

In view of the gravity of crime, a team comprising of SI Suresh Sharma, HC Chhittarmal, Ct. Vijay Kumar, Ct. Dharmender, Ct. Ashok and W/Ct. Pushpa was constituted under supervision of Inspr. Ramesh Kumar, SHO/PS Kalkaji and overall supervision of Sh. Jasbir Singh, ACP/Kalkaji.  

During investigation, suspect Mr. Satish Dhingra, the Proprietor of M/s Success Financial Services was called but he did not join the investigation. During further investigation, it was also revealed that Satish Dhingra used to arrange big loans to private companies through his company M/s Success Financial Services for which he takes commission from them. It was also revealed that he had taken huge money from the various businessmen for getting them sanctioned loans but their loans could not be sanctioned. Those businessmen are visiting his office frequently for getting their money back.  

On 05.09.16, the above businessmen visited the office of M/s Success Financial Services for getting their money back from Mr. Satish Dhingra but he was not found present in the office.  The above businessmen were called by the police team and questioned but they denied for having any knowledge about the missing Vinod Kamat. Subsequently, technical surveillance was mounted during which the location of missing person as well as the above businessmen was found at Pari Chowk, Greater Noida at the similar timings on 05.09.16.  It raises the needle of suspicion on the above businessmen.   They were again called and interrogated at length.  Finally, they broke down and confessed that they had kidnapped Vinod Kamat and confined him in the Factory of Neeraj Verma at M/s Lufti Trading Company, N-19, Site 5, Kasna, Greater Noida, UP. Accordingly the above accused persons namely Neeraj Verma, Harshit Arya, Arjun Dhawan and Inderjeet Arya were arrested in this case.   

Further they took the police team at the factory of Neeraj Verma where the above missing Vinod Kamat was recovered who was confined in the factory under the custody of Rahul Vats, an employee of Neeraj Verma.     Rahul Vats was also arrested in this case. Vinod Kamat narrated the whole storey of his kidnapping by the above businessmen for mounting pressure upon Satish Dhingra for getting their money back from him.   

In view of the above criminal act of the above accused persons, further section for commission of robbery and wrongful confinement of Vinod Kamat have also been incorporated in this case.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS

1. Neeraj Verma :- He runs his business by the name and style of M/s Drona Enterprises, at 11685/2, Sat Nagar, Karol Bagh, New Delhi.  He also runs business by the name and style of M/s Lufti Trading Company at N-19, Site No. 5, Kasna, Greater Noida, UP.

2. Harshit Arya :- He is a final year student of Chartered Accountant and working with Neeraj Verma as part time job and looking after the account of his company.

3. Rahul Vats :- He is an employee of Neeraj Verma and working in his factory at Greater Noida where they confined the kidnapped Vinod Kamat.

4. Arjun Dhawan :- He runs his business by the name and style of M/s Grand Impression Pvt. Ltd. at C-126, 2nd floor, Gate No. 1, Naraina, Delhi.  

5. Inderjeet Arya:- He is an employee of Mr. Arjun Dhawan.
