NOTORIOUS ROBBERS WHO ROBBED GAMBLERS IN YAMUNA KHADAR TO BUY DRUGS ARRESTED

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Two notorious robbers arrested.
  • Two country made Pistols, Four live cartridges and two stolen M/Cycles recovered.
  • 17 cases worked out.

INCIDENT: On 22.06.2017, ASI Sabu, while on patrolling duty an Information received that two persons, who carry illegal weapons and commit Robbery and Snatching, will come at Sardar Patel Park (Tikona Park) on a Motor Cycle. At 03.10 PM, two boys came on a Splendor Motor Cycle and these boys namely Virejesh @ Brijesh @ Kalu S/o Khimman R/o Garhi Mendu, Bhajanpura, Delhi aged 24 years and Vikki @ Jony S/o Brahmpal R/o B-Block, Bhajanpura, Delhi aged 20 years were apprehended by the police team. On their search one country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of Virjesh @ Brijesh @ Kalu and one country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of Vikki @ Jony. On enquiry, the above Splendor Motor Cycle bearing Registration No. HR-26BM-7043 have been stolen from the area of P.S. Gokulpuri vide e-FIR No. 018412/17 u/s 379 IPC PS Crime Branch, Delhi. Another stolen Motor Cycle make Discover bearing registration No. DL-7SBJ-8492 was recovered on their instance which was also found stolen from the area of PS Bahajnpura vide e-FIR No. 018655/17. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 288/17 u/s 25 Arms Act & 102 CrPC dated 22-06-2017 was registered at P.S. Bhajanpura.
During sustained interrogation these persons also confessed their involvements in various cases of Snatching and Robbery especially in the area of Yamuna Khadar where they used to rob gamblers in the area. They have admitted of committing 3-4 incidents a day.
TEAM : A team consisting of HC Anil Kumar, ASI Sabu, HC Amrish Panwar,
Ct. Nitin and Ct. Jagmohan under the leadership of Sh. Anant Mittal, IPS/UT, SHO/Bhajanpura and supervision of Sh. Sachin Sharma, ACP/Gokal Puri was formed.
MODUS OPERANDI
They used stolen Motor Cycles for committing Robbery in Yamuna Khadar where they robbed gamblers for fulfilling their need of drugs.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg. He was wanted in many cases of Extortion etc. With his arrest four cases of Extortion and Arms Act of North West Distt have been worked out.
