Fake job call center/ racket busted , they were offering jobs in a reputed limited company.

  The District Cyber Cell, North West District has busted a fake job call centre/racket, who had cheated several people all over India on the pretext for providing job in a reputed limited company. Kingpin namely Narender @ Gaurav R/ Majlis Park, Azadpur, Delhi has been arrested in Case FIR no. 125/17 u/s 419/420 IPC, PS Rani Bagh, Delhi. 8 mobile phones, one laptop, documents of the alleged company i.e. M/s Smart HR Zone and other items recovered from his possession.
FACTS
A complaint was received at District Cyber Cell, North-West District, AU Block, Pitampura, Delhi, in which complainant (sales manager of Delhi circle of a reputed limited company) has alleged that various complaints had been received by them. In the complaints received from victims of all over India, victims had alleged that some fake call centers are operating in parts of Delhi & NCR who on the pretext of providing job in a reputed limited company had cheated them. They used to call the victims and asked them to come to their office for interview process as they have been selected for various post in Reputed limited company. They charged them a fix amount as security fee and gave them offer/joining letter. After that they stopped picking the phones of the victims. A case was registered vide FIR no. 125/17 u/s 419/420 IPC dt 16/05/17 PS Rani Bagh, NWD, Delhi and investigation was taken up by Cyber Cell/NWD.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:
Accused person used to work in a consultancy firm and  due to his financial constraint, later he indulged in cheating people on the pretext of providing jobs in various companies. He started his own fake consultancy firm in the name of M/s Smart HR Zone in the area of Pitampura. He hired six tele-callers also. He made advertisements of his firm by publishing in news paper and different job portals. Aspirants used to respond them by sending E-Mails and calling on the Cell Phones provided by him in advertisement. Hired tele-callers called the aspirants and informed about date, time & place where the aspirantd had to appear for interview. They used to lure the job seekers by getting them employed in Reputed limited company. he used to charge a fix amount as security fees in lieu of providing job in Reputed limited company. He use to introduce himself as Gaurav Kumar and did not disclosed his real name. He succeeded in multiple bank accounts by fake name Gaurav. He confessed to have cheated more than two hundred job seekers using fake E-Mail IDs of Reputed limited company.
INVESTIGATION AND ARREST:
During the course of investigation, the alleged call centre which was operating from Commercial Complex, Sukhlal Market, Pitampura, Delhi was found closed. Because of technical surveillance and field work, the king pin of the call centre was traced down and apprehended by team of Cyber Cell/NWD compromising SI Vikas, HC Neeraj, HC Manoj, Ct. Dheeraj, Ct. Pawan, Ct. Ramesh under the supervision of INSPR. Arun Kumar. The Investigation of the case is underway.
PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED
Narender Kumar @ Gaurav Kumar R/o Majlis Park, Azadpur, Delhi is the permanent resident of Kanpur city, UP. He graduated in Science. He came to Delhi in 2015.He had earlier done jobs in various consultancy firms.

  2. 1 laptop
  3. ID proofs and bank pass books.
  4. One register and certain documents of the alleged company

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
