MASTERMIND CHEAT WANTED IN MUMBAI, HARYANA & OTHER STATES, WHO DUPED SEVERAL PEOPLE ON OLX ON THE PRETEXT OF RENTTING THEIR EXPENSIVE CARS/SUV IN EMBASSIES HAS BEEN ARRESTED

The staff of P.S Preet Vihar has arrested one desperate interstate criminal namely Ajay Dabas who duped people on OLX on the pretext of renting their SUV/Expensive cars in Embassies and further sell out these cars to different people by preparing forged documents.  
Team & Operation
On 09/06/2017, on the complaint of Sh Vijender Kumar Tyagi a case FIR No 148/17 has been registered in which complainant has alleged that he posted an advertisement on OLX to sell his car Toyota Fortuner Bearing No UP37E8777. A person namely Ajay Dabas came in contact with complainant on OLX and proposed him that he can rent his car in an embassy which would give him a good returns. Thereafter, the above Accused fled away with the Complainant’s car and tried to sell the said car to a person namely Mr Taiyab through personating that the car belong to accused. The accused took Rs 2 Lakh as a token Money and fled away.To pin down the accused, different teams consisting SI Abodh Sharma, Cts. Sandeep Dhaiya, Narender Yadav, Rajbir Tomar, Kapil Baisala led by Insp. Maninder Singh, SHO/Preet Vihar were working tirelessly.
The accused used to change his mobile phone and numbers frequently to escape arrest. Intelligence system was boosted and through a secret information, it came in notice that accused Ajay Dabas is staying at OYO Hotel 501, Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Thereafter, on 26/06/2017 a trap was laid and Accused Ajay Dabas was arrested from the said hotel. During the course of investigation, it came to know that Non Bailable warrants have already been issued against the accused vide Case FIR No 276/12 U/S 420/467/468/120B IPC and 66(A) IT ACT P.S Sec-40 Gurgaon, Haryana having same modus operandi.
DISCLOSURE & MODUS OPERANDI:-
             During sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he along with his friend namely Akshay used to dupe people on OLX by alluring them under the pretext of renting their Expensive Cars in Embassies which would ultimately result in high Monetary gains. He generally targets Expensive Cars/SUVs i.e Audi, Fortuner, etc.  Thereafter, Accused sold the said Cars to interested customers at very low prices and after getting money/token money from them they used to flee away.

  2. FIR No 160/17 U/S 420 IPC PS-Preet Vihar.
  3. One Complaint Case of P.S Lajpat Nagar.
  4. One Complaint Case of P.S Madangiri.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:-
  1. Ajay Dabas age 26 Yrs R/O Rewari, Haryana, studied upto class 12th, eventually he got distracted from the studies and choose the path of criminal activities. Accused left studies at an early age but is highly tech savvy. Accused is very much influenced from cheat Natwar Lal.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru.
