INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY - 2017
On the occasion of International Yoga Day – 2017, Commissioner of Police, Delhi motivated Delhi Police personnel to practice Yoga in order to deal with stress & fatigue and to increase efficiency in their performance. Our personnel should imbibe this culture in their daily routine, to keep themselves mentally and physically fit to face difficult situations. Yoga can help our personnel gain strength and remain calm while offering our services. Commissioner of Police, Delhi himself performed Yogasans, along with other senior officers and 2000 participants of all ranks at Ramlila Grounds in Central Delhi. All the participants performed Yogasans with great enthusiasm and there was a positive response from all over.
Similar programs were organized by other Districts/Units., police stations, police colonies and polices complexes. The detail of other places where Yoga shivirs were held is as under:-
