A GANG OF DRUGS & ARMS SUPPLIERS BUSTED

HIGHLIGHTS:-

• 7 accused persons arrested
• 34.25 Kilograms Ganja recovered.
• 2 Automatic pistols and 4 live cartridges recovered.
• 4 Country made pistols and 12 Live Cartridges Recovered
• One Polo car and Rs. 64,000 recovered.

BRIEF FACTS:-

1. Two Drug and Arms supplier namely Azim Qureshi S/o Haji Iqbal  R/o H.No. 326, Qureshiyan  Mohalla ,Village –Pasonda  Distt.- Ghaziabad (U.P)   and  Feroz  S/o Khurshed R/o E-40, fish Market ,New Seemapuri, Delhi  arrested and from their possession 34.25 kg of ganja , two Automatic pistol with four live cartridges ,one Polo car , Rs. 50,000/- cash recovered.
2. Five accused persons arrested and from their possession four country made pistols and twelve live cartridges were recovered.

INCIDENTS:-

On 30.05.2017  Police staff of Sub-Division Seemapuri Delhi , under overall supervision of ACP/Seemapuri  SH Hareshwar V. Swami IPS , was deployed for intensive patrolling from 04:00 am to 11 pm , in the area to keep a check on crime and  criminals. During the course of same , seven accused persons were nabbed by the patrolling teams with weapons and drugs  and legal actions were taken against them which are as following :  

1. On 30.05.2017 a team under the supervision of ACP/Seemapuri Sh. Hareshwar V. Swami IPS , comprising of SI Gaurav Choudhary , SI Vishwender, HC Sudhir No. 264/shd , HC Ajay No. 437/shd, Ct. Prince No.1329/shd , Ct. Mohit No. 1350/shd , Ct Kapil no. 991/shd , Ct Satyendra no. 1003/shd , Ct Rohit no. 420/shd , Ct Sandeep no. 1390/shd and Ct Arvind no. 977/shd was in the area of PS Seemapuri Delhi and performing patrolling and checking duty .When the patrolling team reached near Shamshan Ghat old Seemapuri Delhi on red colour Polo car moving from old Seemapuri Gol Chakkar to Anand Vihar Delhi stopped ahead of J&K pocket bus Stand road no. 62 Old Seemapuri Delhi.  Two persons came out of the car and took out  two black coloured bags  from the car and were briskly crossing the road no. 62 old seemapuri Delhi.  This created a suspicion in the mind of the patrolling team . Patrolling  team apprehended both of them who were identified as Azim Qureshi S/o Haji Iqbal  R/o H.No. 326, Qureshiyaan  Mohalla ,Village –Pasonda Distt.- Ghaziabad (U.P)  Age- 26 yrs ,  Feroz S/o Khurshed R/o E-40, fish Market ,New Seemapuri, Delhi, Age-30 yrs  . On checking the bags being carried out by them ,  27.800 kg ganja was recovered from the possession of accused Azim and 6.450 kg Ganja was recovered from the possession of accused person Feroz. In this regard CASE FIR no. 352/17 u/s 20/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Seemapuri Delhi. Further , search of accused person Azim was carried out and from his possession one Automatic pistol of 7.65 mm with two live cartridges was recovered . On conducting search of accused Feroz one Automatic pistol of 7.65 mm with two live cartridges was recovered from him . In this regard a separate CASE FIR No. 353/17 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Seemapuri Delhi. Red Colour polo car bearing no. DL 3C BV 3696 along with Rs. 64,000/- cash recovered from it was seized and taken into police possession.

2. On 30.05.2017 SI Rahul Sagar along with HC Nitin no. 479/NE , CT Sumit no. 764/E , CT Vineet no. 1205/shd , and  Ct Hukam Singh no. 899/NE  apprehended five persons from District Park Dilshad Garden Delhi who were preparing to commit dacoity at Bharat Petrol Pump main GT Road Delhi , who were identified as followings:

(i). Kaushar Sheikh s/o Israil Sheikh r/o H No. 2136 E-Block JJ Colony Bawana Delhi .

(ii). Danish s/o Iqbal r/o H NO. 22 Azad Nagar Bulendsher UP.

(iii). Mohsin s/o Zaheer r/o Gali no 6 New Basti Bulendsher UP .

(iv). Rubail Hussain s/o Anwar Hussain r/o H no. E-47/48 New Seemapuri Delhi.

(v). Mabud s/o Moinuddin r/o H No. E-44/B-52 New Seemapuri Delhi .

From the possession of above mentioned accused persons Kaushar   Sheikh , Danish , Mohsin and Rubail one-one country made pistols and two – two live cartridges of .315 bore were recovered . Four live cartridges of .315 bore were recovered from the possession of accused person Mabud. In this regard CASE FIR no. 354/17 u/s 399/402 IPC and 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Seemapuri Delhi and further investigation has been taken up by SI Vishvender Choudhary.

  

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation, it was revealed by accused Azim  that he is a  drug peddler and he is involved in the crime of supply of ganja since 3 yrs. He used to purchase ganja from Ghaziabad UP and then further sells it in parks in bordering area of Delhi and Ghaziabad. Accused feroz disclosed that he has been working with Azim since 6 months .They used to keep weapons with them to terrify the people of their locality and  to maintain their supremacy in the area. They used to purchase ganja at cost of Rs. 5,500/- per kg , out of which about 300 small packets of ganja  are being prepared and these packets are being sold at the rate of Rs. 50/- per packet. Daily sale of Azim is around 700 packets of ganja.

On sustained interrogation accused persons Kaushar , Danish , Mohsin , Rubail and Mabud disclosed that they purchased these weapons from feroz , who is a main supplier of weapons  .Earlier three weapons ie. One Automatic pistol and two country made pistols were recovered from one Imran  ( brother of accused Feroz) who was arrested vide CASE FIR no. 204/17 u/s 25 Arms Act of PS Seemapuri Delhi. Imran had disclosed that these weapons were given to him by Feroz.   All five of them disclosed that Azim had  provided shelter to all of them .

PROFILES OF ARRESTED PERSONS:-

1. Azim Qureshi S/o Haji Iqbal  R/o H.No. 326, Qureshiyan  Mohalla ,Village Pasonda  Distt.- Ghaziabad (U.P)  aged about 26 yrs. He is educated upto 8 th class. He does scrap work. He has two previous involvements (CASE FIR no. 1606/15 u/s 354/323/341/34 IPC  PS Seemapuri Delhi , CASE FIR No. 910/15 u/s 354/354B/506/509/34 IPC PS Seemapuri Delhi.).

 

2. Feroz  S/o Khurshed R/o E-40, fish Market ,New Seemapuri, Delhi aged about 30 yrs. He is educated upto 4th class.  He is a married person and has 3 children. He works as fruit-seller in New Seemapuri Delhi .

3. Kaushar Sheikh s/o Israil Sheikh r/o H No. 2136 E-Block JJ Colony Bawana Delhi  aged about 28 yrs . He is illiterate and does scrap work. He is a married persons and has 3 children.

4. Danish s/o Iqbal r/o H NO. 22 Azad Nagar Bulendsher UP aged about 25 yrs. He is educated upto 3rd  class and does labour work. He is unmarried person.

5. Mohsin s/o Zaheer r/o Gali no 6 New Basti Bulendsher UP age about 23 yrs. He is educated upto 8th class. He is a driver by profession. He has 5 siblings.

6. Rubail Hussain s/o Anwar Hussain r/o H no. E-47/48 New Seemapuri Delhi aged about 23 yrs. He is educated upto 10th class. He works in meat shop. He is a married person and has 2 children.

7. Mabud s/o Moinuddin r/o H No. E-44/B-52 New Seemapuri Delhi aged about 22  yrs. He is illiterate and does scrap work. He as 2 siblings.

RECOVERY:-

1. 34.25 Kg Ganja.
2. 2 Automatic pistols and 4 live cartridges of 7.65 mm.
3. 4 Country made pistols and 12 Live Cartridges of .315 bore.

5. Rs. 64,000 cash.
