solving of the recent Rohini sector 24 double murder case

On 11.12.16, at about 07:40 AM, a PCR call was received regarding murder of a male and female in mysterious circumstances in Deep Vihar, PS Shahbad Dairy. Immediately, local police rushed to the spot and found two bodies(one male and one female) lying in a pool of blood having injuries of gunshot.  The male body was identified as of Joginder (aged 45 yrs) s/o Jai Narain r/o 241 Mundka.  It was also found that he was ASI in Delhi Police posted at 1st Bn.DAP.  The female body was also identified.  Accordingly FIR No. 862/16 u/s 302/34 IPC and 25/57 Arms Act was registered at PS Shahbad Dairy and investigation was carried out.

keeping in view of the sensitivity of the case, several teams were constituted under the leadership of Sh. Nidhin Valsan IPS Addl.DCP/RD and overall supervision of undersigned.
INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION

Investigation was taken up, sources were deployed.  Human and technical intelligence were collected and analyzed.  During the investigation a team led by Inspr. Mahavir Singh consisting of HC Surender, HC Bal Kishan, HC Rajesh, Ct. Vikas, Ct. Vijay under the supervision of Shri Saurabh Chandra, ACP/Bawana apprehended two persons namely Jeet Dahiya, s/o Hosiyar Singh, r/o H-2/149, Sector-16 Rohini and Sandeep @ Jai s/o Amar Singh, r/o B-6/84, Sector-17 Rohini.  During the interrogation they revealed that Jeet, the primary accused, had partnership with deceased ASI Jitender in arranging Dance  & Satta activities.   Some monetary dispute occurred between them which led to enmity. Jeet became revengeful and made a plan to eliminate Jitender with the help of some of his close friends.   On the intervening night of 10-11/12/16 he alongwith his friends went to Singh Properties in Deep Vihar, Sector-24, Rohini  and fired multiple rounds on Jitender and on lady.  The lady was killed because she was witness to Jitender’s murder.  When they assured that they both died, they fled from the spot.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
