HUGE AMOUNT OF CURRENCY NOTES (NEW & OLD) RECOVERED BY CRIME BRANCH

In a joint operation,Inter State Cell of Crime Branch, Delhi & Income Tax Department has recovered new and old currency notes from an office premises in Greater Kailash New Delhi .   
INFORMATION:-
A Secret information was surfaced and the same was developed  that a renowned advocate who had declared  Rs 125 Crore before the official of income tax department few days back ,is hoarding pile of cash illegally and indulging in transaction of the old and new currency notes. Accordingly, a round the clock watch was kept on his activities by the crime branch,especially  at the premises he used for running his office in greater kailash new delhi.  
TEAM& OPERATION: -
Yesterday, in late evening a secret input was received at office of ISC that huge amount of currency notes has arrived at the above said office i.e R-89, Greater Kailash.  Immediately, a team of Inter State Cell of Crime Branch led by ACP ISC Sanjay Sehrawat and consisting of Insp. Narinder Chahar, SI Gurmeet Singh, HC Ramesh Kumar, HC Bijender, HC Virender   & Cts. Praveen, Parminder, Amit Kumar, Rahul, Rahul Choudhray and others , was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and under over all guidance of Addl.CP Sh. K.K. Vyas. The information was shared with the Income Tax officials and they were also roped in the operations.
After due procedure and sanction, a search warrant was procured and the above said premises were raided in the late evening which belongs to a renowned law firm namely T & T Pvt. Ltd . From the premises, huge new and old currency notes were recovered to the tune of several crores. The amount of 2 crore and 62 lacs was found in newly introduced 2000 notes.Besides,7 crores and 70 lacs of 1000 notes and 3 crore and 6 lacs of rupees 100 notes along with 11 lacs of 50 rupess denomination notes have been recovered. The same were seized as per law.
Two note counting machines were also found there.
PROFILE:-
The above said premises belong to one renowned law firm i.e T & T Law Pvt. Ltd . Few days back the owner reportedly disclosed 125 Crores to revenue authorities after raids were conducted at the other premises.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
