DREADED ROBBERS/SNATCHERS, ARRESTED BY THE ANTI-SNATCHING CELL/ SOUTH-WEST DISTRICT


  • TWO DREADED ROBBERS/SNATCHERS/AUTO-LIFTER ACTIVE IN SOUTH-WEST/WEST DISTT ARRESTED.
  • ACCUSED USED TO SNATCH CHAINS USING STOLEN MOTORCYCLES.
  • ACCUSED ARE INVOLVED IN SEVERAL CASES OF ROBBERY/AUTO-THEFT & SNATCHING.
  • ONE STOLEN TATA MAGIC TEMPO, FOUR MOTORCYCLES, TWO SCOOTY AND FOUR SNATCHED MOBILES RECOVERED
  • TOTAL 11 CASES WORKED OUT.

A team of sleuths of Anti Snatching Cell of South West Distt, led by Inspector Dharambir Singh and comprising SI Anand Prakash, HC Brajlal, HC Manoj Yadav, HC Manoj, Ct Sunder, Ct Mannu, Ct Sudhir & Ct Jagdish   under the close supervision of ACP Rajender Singh, ACP/Ops/SWD  arrested two desperate Robbers/Snatchers  who were involved in several cases of Robberies, Auto Lifting & Snatchings  in the South-West/West/Centre & Outer  district areas.                 
Team and operation:
Taking note of alarming number of cases of Robberies, Auto Lifting & Snatchings  etc in the area , Anti Snatching Cell was directed to nab the criminals involved in such crimes. A dedicated team was also formed for the purpose. The team collected information about the gangs with similar modus operandi.   Team  worked relentlessly day and night and analysed data received from various sources.  During this drive, on 08.12.16, a secret information was received at Anti- Snatching Cell/SW that two dreaded Robbers/Auto-Lifter/Snatchers would come near Shakuntala Nursing Home Sagarpur on a stolen M/Cycle. The information was recorded vide DD No. 6 at Anti-Snatching Cell/SWD and senior officers were briefed. On the direction of senior officers, a dedicated team was formed and a trap was laid near the intimated place.  At about 7:00 PM, two persons were spotted on a motorcycle and were stopped on suspician. They tried to flee but were overpowered by the team members. On verification, the motorcycle was found stolen from PS Sagarpur area.  The accused were interrogated at length and they were found involved in several cases of  Robberies, Auto Lifting & Snatchings. Both accused were arrested U/S 41.1 (d) vide DD No. 8 dated 08.12.16 Anti-Snatching Cell/SWD.  On their instance One TATA Magic Tempo, Three M/Cycles, Two Scooties & Four Mobile Phones were recovered.   
Arrested Accused Person & Previous Involvements:
  1. Anuj Goyal S/O Late. Sh. Mahavir Prasad Goyal R/O Plot- 60/61A, Vikas Kunj, Near Batakh Farm, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, Age 23 Yrs.–  Involved in previous 9 Cases.
  2. Happy alias Amit S/O Late Sh. Anar Singh R/O RZ-63/220, J Block, West Sagarpur, New Delhi, Age 22 Yrs.

Recoveries:

  • One  TATA Magic Tempo.
  • Four Stolen M/Cycles.
  • Two Stolen Scooties.
  • Four Snatched Mobile Phones.

  • Total eleven cases of MV Theft and Snatching have been worked out.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. Naveen @ Khati gang is a desperate gang having rivalry with Manjeet Mahal/ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. They are splinter group of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg. He was wanted in many cases of Extortion etc. With his arrest four cases of Extortion and Arms Act of North West Distt have been worked out.
