INTRODUCTION: With the arrest of a total no. of 06 accused persons, an important daylight Decoity has been successfully worked out by the staff of P.S Kirti Nagar, West District of the Delhi police. The Decoits were found previously involved in Robbery Cases of PS Keshav Puram, Loni, Ghaziabad. A case vide FIR vide No.327/16, dt. 29/08/2016, u/s 381/342/394/395/397/412/120B/34 IPC, PS Kirti Nagar has been successfully worked out in this matter.

INCIDENT: A Case vide FIR No.327/16, Dt.- 29.08.2016, u/s- 381/342/394/395/397/ 411/ 120B / 34 IPC,  PS Kirti Nagar, was registered at PS Kirti Nagar on the complaint of Smt. Tejender Kaur  W/o  Sardar Swaran Singh, R/o- Kirti Nagar, Delhi who is a housewife. As per the sequence of incident, Complainant’s family hired a male  domestic help namely Vinod S/o Aditya Parsad R/o Akhlaspurva, PS Katra Bazar, Distt.- Ghonda (UP) at their house in Kirti Nagar. After being employed for a few days at his work, on 29/08/2016 in the early morning, Vinod arrived at the house of complainant and started working as per his routine work but as noticed by the complainant, he was continuously receiving/making multiple phone calls. The complainant got doubtful about the multiple calls he was receiving/making, hence, she asked him for the reason of the same but he didn’t respond. In the afternoon, accused Vinod made a call to someone and suddenly 02 unknown faces, who were later identified as Vijay@Rahul S/o Ram Nihor R/o Trilokipurva Sehrapar, Distt.- Gonda, UP and Vicky@Chiku S/o Sube Singh, R/o Dharamvati Mohalla, Naipura, Loni, Ghaziabad, entered into her house and closed the main gate. Then immediately overpowered the landlady, her minor granddaughter, and housemaid at knife point, assaulted and tied them with ropes & locked them separately in different rooms and bolted the rooms from outside. In furtherance of their act of dacoity, they threatened the complainant on knife point either to handover the jewellery and cash present into the house or she will be murdered.  When the complainant didn’t respond to their threatening, they beaten her black & blue & tied her hands and legs and gagged a piece of cloth into her mouth and locked her up her in the bathroom. The Dacoits ransacked the complete home after breaking all almirahs and looted Rs. 40,00,000/- in cash, a large number of jewellary articles and an I-phone. After dacoity, they decamped with the booty after bolting the house from outside. However, inspite of being brutally beaten, the complainant somehow regained her consciousness and manage to free herself and somehow came out of the bathroom and open the door of room in which maid was confined. After that she checked the almirah and found that 40 lacs cash, one mobile phone and jewellary which was later calculated to be worth rupee 15 Lacs, was looted by the accused persons and raised an alarm from the back door. The neighbourer heard her SOS call and informed the police. On her statement, the above noted case FIR is registered.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST OF ACCUSED PERSONS

During the course of investigation, immediately a massive manhunt was launched and technical surveillance was mounted by several teams of West Distt. The information was collected regarding servant Vinod and found that Vinod S/o Aditya parsad is a native resident of VPO Akhlaspurva P.S Katra Bazar, Distt. Gonda, U.P. and was employed as domestic help only 04 days before the date of incident by the complainant. The efforts were made to search the accused and case property but no clue was found. On 02/09/2016, one team reached the native place of accused Vinod at VPO Akhlas purva, where his father Aditya Parsad was found present who stated that his son works in Delhi and he has not come to village till date. He further stated that a close friend of Vinod is Vijay who also belongs from their neighboring  village Trilokipurva sehrapar and he also works in Delhi. He can give some information about Vinod. After that, on the same day the team reached to Vijay’s house in Trilokipurva sehrapar P.S Katra Bazar where Vijay’s father Sh. Ram Nihor was found present and he stated that his son works in Delhi and he has not come to his village since long. However, as per secret information, it was revealed that Vijay had already undergone imprisonment in some criminal case. On receiving this information, record of Vijay @Rahul S/o Ram Nihor R/o Trilokipurva Sehrapar P.S. Katra Bazar was checked and it came to light that Vijay@Rahul had already been involved in Case vide FIR No. 145/12 dt 25.6.12 u/s 392/394/397/411/34 IPC p.s. Ashok Vihar and  case vide FIR No. 308/12  u/s 467/471/196/120B IPC P.S. Ashok Vihar.  Another  information was received from a secret informer that Rakesh s/o Ram Charan r/o H.No. A-97 , Baba Faridpuri West Patel Nagar, Delhi, who is a relative of Vijay @ Rahul has also been involved in same police case in Delhi along with Vijay . In the details of associates from the dossier of Vijay@Rahul, the name of a person Rakesh was found as co-accused in Case FIR No. 145/12 dt 25.6.12 u/s 392/394/397/411/34 IPC P.S Ashok Vihar.

During the course of investigation, it was revealed that the offence of dacoity was committed by a gang of 6 criminals namely (1) Vinod (2) Vijay@Rahul (3) Raghav (4) Vicky, 5) Rakesh, 6) Amit. It was further revealed that the criminal conspiracy was hatched by accused persons in the first week of month of August, 2016 at Punjabi Bagh where the accused Vicky was working as house maid at the residence of elderly lady. As per plan, Vinod was sent to complainant’s house as a housemaid, where he employed himself and closely monitored the family member movements and business transactions carried out by the complainant’s husband. He also noticed the movement of cash in flow on the daily basis. On the fixed date and time the accused Vinod gave indication to fellow accomplishers to barge into the house of complainant after the departure of complainant’s husband to his work at Kundli in Sonipat. After decamping with the booty, they all first fled to Lucknow, Gonda, Bahraich & finally to Nepal. However, finally on the basis of secret information 3 decoits were apprehended while entering into India.

On the sustained interrogation of accused Rakesh S/o Ram Charan R/o Baba Farid Puri, West Patel Nagar, Delhi, he confirmed commission of offence. A recovery consisting  Nepali Currency Rs. 620/-, Indian Currency Rs. 9500/-, Nepali items (i) one packet Bhujiya(namkeen) namely Udi Baba, made in Nepal (ii) one hair oil bottle, with tag “made in Nepal” effected. The sustained interrogation of IInd accused Vijay@Rahul S/o Ramnihor R/o VPO Trilokipurva, Sehrapar, PS Katra Bazar, Ditt. Gonda, UP also made. He confessed commission of offence and a recovery consisting Nepali Currency Rs. 510/-, Indian Currency Rs. 20,000/-, Nepali items viz. (i) Two packet kurmure, with tag line “a quality product of Durga Spices and food products Pvt. Ltd., made in Nepal”, (ii) one packet with “Golden KajuBadam Cookies” Manufactured by Good life Food Products, Sunakothi, Lalitpur, Nepal, (iii) One packet Gutka “MeghaShri” made in Nepal (iv) 4 medicine tablets which are made in Nepal effected. The sustained interrogation of IIIrd accused  Raghav S/o Shyamnath R/o VPO Trilokipurva, Sehrapar, PS Katra Bazar, Ditt. Gonda, UP also made. He confessed commission of offence and a recovery consisting Nepali Currency Rs. 325/-, Indian Currency Rs. 15,000/-, Nepali items (i) one packet biscuit made in Nepal (ii) 3 pouch gutka “MeghaShri” made in Nepal (iii) 3 medicine tablet made in Nepal & a Wrist watch make “ Omega” looted from the residence of complainant effected. The 4th accused namely Vinod was also arrested on the basis of secret information from dense forest area near his native village Ghonda and a recovery of Rs. 3,50,000/- in cash was made from him.

                    The manhunt for remaining 2 accused continued and day & night surveillance on all suspected hideouts, residences of family members, work places & informers were deployed and information came that the absconding accused Vicky and Amit are living in a freshly rented accommodation in the area of Johri Nagar, North-East Distt., Delhi. A trap was laid and both were apprehended in the midnight operation of 22-23/12/2016. A recovery of Rs. 12,00,000/-, jewellary articles & High-end Mobile Phones has been made from them. All the 6 dacoits sent behind the bars.

RECOVERY

At the instance of accused persons (1) Total 16,50,000/- cash  (2) A number of high end mobile phones, Jewellary Articles has been recovered.
