Mass Demonstration Programmes of Self-Defense Techniques

On 20.12.2016, South West District organized three Mass Demonstration Programmes of Self-Defense Techniques under the Flagship Programme “AB NAHI HAI DARNA” at the school grounds of St. Charles School, Samaspur, New Delhi, Modern International School, Sec.19, Dwarka, New Delhi and Kendriya Vidhalaya, Sec.12 Dwarka, New Delhi.  ACP/Dwarka, ACP/Najafgarh & SHOs concerned attended the above said programmes. Total 406 girl students of these Schools have been trained in Self Defense Techniques.

    The girls demonstrated different skills of Self-Defense Techniques in the above said programmes. A certificate was also given to all the participants. South-West District has trained in Self Defence Techniques more than 10,000 girl students of 48 schools of this District till date.
   The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sub-Divisions Dwarka and Najafgarh addressed the participants and explained the importance of Self-Defense Techniques. They appreciated the efforts of Women-Empowerment and also the work of trainers namely (1) W/Const. Satish & (2) W/Const. Rekha. Assistant Commissioners of Police also advised all the participants to practice Self-Defense Techniques on regular basis. It was also assured that this District will continue to conduct such Self-Defense training programmes to train maximum possible girl students.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. Naveen @ Khati gang is a desperate gang having rivalry with Manjeet Mahal/ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. They are splinter group of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg. He was wanted in many cases of Extortion etc. With his arrest four cases of Extortion and Arms Act of North West Distt have been worked out.
