GANG OF NOTORIOUS BURGLARS BUSTED

  • 30 CASE OF BURGLARIES WORKED OUT

The staff of PS Maurya Enclave, North-West District, have arrested a notorious burglar namely Govinda AKA Murlidhar and his accomplice namely Govind AKA Reckwar leading to work out 30 cases of burglaries. Stolen gold jewellary, 2 laptops, One Scooty and One Car (Volkswagen)  have been recovered at their instance. Two receivers of stolen items have also been arrested.

BRIEF FACTS:

The brief facts of the case are that on 23.11.2016 an incident of  burglary was reported from G&JU Block Pitam Pura. During the course of investigation, CCTV Footage of the surrounding area of scene of Crime was taken and analyzed. One Govinda, who happened to be notorious criminal of the area, along with his accomplice was found “lurking” roaming in the footage.  Besides, HC Subhash who was on night patrolling in the area tried to stop a Volksvagen Polo Car bearing registration No. DL-10C-1437. but the same did not stop. However HC Subhash remembered the Car bearing No DL-10C-1437 having roof of Black colour as distinct feature.

A dedicated team comprising SI Dinesh Beniwal, SI Nakul, HC Subhash, HC Bhagat, HC Mahesh, Ct. Rajendra, Ct. Satender,. Ct. Mahesh No. 1838/NW was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Ranjay Atrishya SHO/Maurya Enclave and over all supervision of Sh. Surender Dahiya ACP/Saraswati Vihar to track down the accused persons.

The team painstakingly  worked on the  leads/clues and deployed informers to gather local intelligence. During the intervening night of 7/8.12.2016, the hard work of the team paid rich dividend when a secret information was received that Govinda AKA Murlidhar would come alongwith his associate near Shah Alam Bandh. A trap was laid and the accused alongwith his associate was detained and interrogated. The other accused was identified as Govind AKA Rackwar. Both confessed to have committed a number of burglaries together. It is pertinent to mention that accused Govinda is a registered Bad Character of PS Maurya Enclave and has been on run since May 2015. As many as 30 cases of burglaries committed in the area of North-West District have been worked out. They used to come in car and strike at locked houses.

During investigation Amrinder Singh @ Captain and Davinder Singh @ Rinku were also arrested  for receiving  stolen property from the accused persons.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS

  1. Govinda AKA Murlidhar Age-26 years R/o Sultan Puri, Delhi, is a registered B.C of PS Maurya Enclave and was running absent since 20 May 2015. He has 40 cases under his name which ranges form Murder/Kidnapping/Rape/Burglary/Arms Act. He is school dropout.
  2. Govind Aka Reckwar Age-22 years R/o Pitam Pura Village, Delhi,  is an accomplice of Govinda mentioned above. He is school dropout.
  3. Amrinder Singh AKA Captain Age-29 years R/o Sanjay Nagar, Mahindra Park, Delhi, is a Car Dealer having his office at Nanda Road, Shah Alam, Bandh Marg, Adarsh Nagar, New Delhi.
  4. Davinder Singh AKA Rinku Age-29 yrs R/o Mahindra Park, Delhi, is a jeweler having his jewellary shop in Jahangir Puri, New Delhi.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
