SAINTERSTATE RACKET INVOLVED IN SUPPLY OF MARIJUANA (GANJA) BUSTED

  • GANJA WEIGHING 240 KG, WORTH RS.25 LAC IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
  • THE RECOVERED GANJA WAS FERRIED IN A SANTRO CAR BY REMOVING THE BACK SEATS
  • GNTRO CAR USED FOR TRANSPORTATION OF GANJA ALSO SEIZED.

Crime Branch has apprehended a drug trafficker Julfikar@ Rahul (29 yrs) s/o Asfaq Hussain r/o C-123, Village Peeragarhi, Delhi. 240 kg of fine quality of ganja was recovered in a Santro car. The value of recovered ganja is Rs. 25 lac (approx.) in international market.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
An information was received by Inspr. Vivek Pathak of STF, Crime Branch that Julfikar@ Rahul (29 yrs) s/o Ashfaq Hussain r/o C-123, Village Peeragarhi, Delhi is indulged in supply of ganja after procuring it from Odisha to Agra, Uttar Pradesh by truck. From Agra, Julfikar used to load the ganja in his Santro car. To ferry the ganja, Julfikar@ Rahul has removed the back seat of his Santro car, to dodge the law enforcing agencies. The information further entailed that Julfikar@ Rahul would go to his house via Madipur bus stand in the said Santro Car carrying ganja in it.

A team led by ACP Ram Mehar consisting of Inspr. Vivek Pathak, SI Shiv Darshan, HCs Sanjeev, Mahesh, Kamal, Rajesh, Narendra and Ct. Ram Dass was constituted under supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab Julfikar and a trap was laid near bus stand, Madipur, Delhi and he was apprehended. 240 kg ganja was recovered from his car. A case vide FIR No.128/16 u/s 20/25 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi was registered in this regard.


   During interrogation, Julfikar@ Rahul disclosed that he has four brothers and two sisters. Father of Julfikar@ Rahul is a farmer having 10 Bigah land at his native place at Village Faiz Nagar, P.S. Bhutha, Tehsil Faridpur, Distt. Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Due to poor financial condition, Julfikar alongwith his elder brother came to Delhi. Both brothers started a small unit of embroidery. Initially, they were going good in their profession but gradually incurred huge losses. In the meantime, Julfikar@ Rahul came in contact with one Ashok of Peeragarhi, who used to supply ganja and earning handsomely in this illicit trade. Inspired from easy earning of Ashok, Julfikar also associated himself in drug trafficking. Julfikar came in contact with one Krishna of Bharampur, Odisha who was a bulk supplier of illicit ganja in Delhi. Julfikar by the time started supplying ganja on his own in Delhi.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
