THREE MANIPURI TERRORISTS OF PROSCRIBEDKCP (POIREI MEITEI)OUTFIT, ARRESTED BY SPECIAL CELL !

  3. PUKHRIHONGBAMIBOMCHA, (Ex-Cadre of KYKL) AND CLOSE AIDE OF KHOIROMRANJIT AKA ROCKY ARRESTED
  4. ONE 9 mm PISTOL AND TWO LIVE HAND GRENADES RECOVERED.
A team of Special Cell led by Insp. Vijay Kumar, under the supervision of Sh. AKhilewhwar Swaroop Yadav, ACP/SWR, has apprehended self- styled Commander-in-Chief of terrorist organization, KCP (KangleiPak Communist Party) POIREI MEITEI of Manipur, KHOIROMRANJIT AKA GREAT MACHA AKA ROCKY AKA POIREI MEITEI aged 35 Years r/o Yairipok Laimanai, PS Yairipok, distt. Thobal, Imphal East, Manipur alongwith his two associates MS. INUGBAMSANATOMBI DEVI,D/o Irungbam Kumar Singh, r/o Pungdongbam Mamang Leikai Pungdongbam, Yourbung Imphal Eastaged 26 years and PUKHRIHONGBAMIBOMCHA, s/o Pachou Singh R/o Yairipok top Chingtha. They are involved in large number of cases of terror activities like lobbying of grenades, shoot-outs, killings,planting of bombs, running extortion network by intimidating businessmen and politicians. One 9 mm Pistol and two hand grenades have been recovered from their possession.
Information was received from Manipur Police about the presence in Delhi of Khoirom Ranjit aka Great Macha aka Rocky aka Poirei Meitei, who is the Commander-in-Chief of “KCP-POIREI MEITEI” a banned terrorist/militant organization of Manipur. Sources were deployed and technical surveillance was mounted to apprehend the afore mentioned terrorist. On 12/01/2017, intelligence was received that the wanted terrorist is coming to meet his associate in Mayur Vihar, Delhi. Accordingly, a team was sent to Mayur Vihar to apprehend him. Khoirom Ranjitaka Rocky alongwith one lady Ms. Inugbam Sanatombi Deviwere spotted there and both were apprehended. A case under the appropriate sections of law has been registered at PS Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, Delhi.  
During the initial interrogation of Khoirom Ranjit aka Great Macha aka Rocky the whereabouts of his close aide PUKHRIHONGBAMIBOMCHA, s/o Pachou Singh R/o Yairipok top Chingtha who is involved in cases of planting of grenades in Hospitals in Imphal, Manipur was revealed. Accordingly , the joint team of Special Cell, Delhi Police and Manipur Police conducted a raid and arrested him from Manipur. A 9 mm Pistol and 02 hand grenades were recovered from his possession.
Khoirom Ranjit aka Great Macha aka Rocky was subjected to sustained interrogation wherein he disclosed that initially he became an OGW (Over Ground Worker) of Kanglei Yawol KannaLup(KYKL) outfit and was involved in delivering the extortion letters, ferrying vehicles, accompanying the KYKL cadres for arranging food/lodging, and supplying the information about the deployment of Security Forces in the Manipur state.
In the year 2007, he was apprehended by 15 Assam Rifles but was released allegedly due to the political influence without registering any case. On 11-05-2008, he was again arrested by a combined team of 34-Assam Rifles and Manipur Police commandos from a liquor vendor at YairipokShanta Bazar, Yairipok. After his release from jail, he migrated to Nepal where he setup his extortion network base under the banner of KCP-KK, Nigamba Group. From Jan.-2011 to April-2013, he worked as Finance Collector, Imphal East District under the supervision of Finance Secretary, Khaba and managed to extort Rs. 70 lakhs.He then started working under Thoubal District Commander, Litpa r/o Wangoo Charien who gave him the title “Great Macha”. He confessed his involvement in the following cases:-
  1. During the intervening night of 19-20/07/2010, he planted a Chinese hand grenade at the residential courtyard of Dr. Aheiban Mukta Singh at Andro Bazaar.
  2. On 29/04/2012, he hurled a hand grenade at the residential Courtyard of Takhellambam, an E.E. of Mangi Pollution Control Board.
  3. On 02/02/2013 at 10.30 AM, one Grrumayum Prunjit Sharma  aged 25 years was arrested and  one extortion note of KCPK. KNigamba  Kr was seized  from his possession.
  4. On 20/06/2013, he fired at the house of Longiam Deban Singh, an A.E. PHEDTBL, Div. No. 4.
  5. On 23/09/2013, he planted a Chinese hand grenade near the gate of Carrier Foundation English School in Yairi Pok Bamon Leikai.
  6. On 19/09/2013, he demanded Rs. 30 Lakh extortion money from Shri Pukhram Pam Khogendro Singh, Branch Manager in UBI Bank at Singhamei.
  7. On 26/09/2013, he planted a Chinese hand grenade near the gate of residence of Pukhram Pam Khogendro.
  8. On 28/09/2013, he planted a Chinese hand grenade at the residence of Keknam Rohindro.
  9. FIR No. 146(6)2013 u/s 506/341 IPC& 17/20 UA(P)Act & 4 Ex. Subs. Act.
All the above mentioned involvements include extending threats for extorting money from businessman, contractors, doctors and other affluent people.  
After his release from jail in 2014, he entered into a dispute with the KCP-Nigamba and hence floated his own cadre under the banner of KCP-POIREI MEITEI. He has since been involved in various terrorist activities like lobbying &firing of grenades, running extortion network, threatening people, businessmen and politicians and murdering them for refusal/incapacity to meet to his demands and he is wanted in following cases:
  1. On 19.02.2016 at 11.45 AM, Indiscriminate firing at Ningthibi Restaurant located at KhuraiAngomLeikai, thereby killing three persons and injuring three others. Acase videFIR No. 12(2)2016, PS Lamlai Imphal, East District u/s 307/326/341 IPC& 25(1-c) A. Act, 20 UA (P) Act was registered in this regard.
2. On 06/10/16 at about 6.00 PM, three armed cadre kidnapped Sorokhaibam Remesh Singh (54) years s/o (L) S. Ibobi Singh r/o Vill. Nongdam from Tuichin Hill Village PS Saikhul, Sinapati Distt. A case vide FIR No. 101(10)2016, PS Singjamei Imphal West, u/s 365/34 IPC& 25 (1-c) Arms Act was registered in this regard.
3. On 25.10.16 at 10.00 PM, one Chinese hand grenade was hurled near Lagao place at Kakwa MaibamLeikai by his cadre KCP (POIREI) group to kill members of the public and security personnel.FIR No. 196(10)2016, dated 25/10/2016, PS Singjamei Imphal West u/s 307/506/34 IPC& 20 UA (P) Act & 4 Ex. sub Act was registered in this regard.
4. On 26.11.16 at 11.30 AM, one Chinese hand grenade was planted at the stairway of 1st floor of JNIMS Hospital, Porompat, Manipur. Later, his KCP group claimed the responsibility. FIR No. 351(11)2016, dated 26/11/2016, PS Porompat, Imphal East, u/s 506/34 IPC& 4 Ex. Sub. Act was registered in this regard.
5.   On 09.12.2016 at 6.25 PM, the cadre of KCP hurled one hand grenade at the courtyard of Akoijam Brojendro (40) s/o (L) AK Mangi of Singjamei MayengLeikai thereby seriously injuring several persons. Later, the KCP group claimed the responsibility.FIR No. 245(11)2016, dated 29/11/2016, PS  Lamphel Imphal West u/s 4 Explosive sub Act was registered in this regard.

PROFILE

Ranjit aka Great Macha aka Rocky Chaoba, is a “Meitei” by caste and the Commander-in-Chief of Manipuri militant organization KCP “POIREI MEITEI”. He was born on August-1981, out of the wed-lock between (Late) Mr. Kh. Ningthouren (a carpenter) & Mrs. Kh. Sena. He is a permanent r/o Yairpok Laimanai, PS Yairipok, distt. Thobal, Imphal East, Manipur. He studied upto Class-IX at Azad High School, Yairipok and fluent in the Manipuri language besides little bit in Hindi. He has two brothers namely Kh. Thoiba aged-52 Yrs., Kh. Punshi aged-40 Yrs. and one sister namely Ms. Moirangthem Sananacha aged-47 yrs. He married twice and has one daughter and two sons from his first wife and one son and one daughter from another wife.Initially he came in contact with cadres of KYKL who used to visit his CD shop. He started keeping their extortion letters in his shop and then became OGW of KYKL and involved in delivery of extortion letters and monitoring the movement of Security forces in Valley region. In 2007, he was apprehended by 15 Assam rifles but got released due to political interference. In 2008, he was again arrested by joint team of Police commandoes and 34 Assam rifles. After releasing from jail he went to Nepal and setup his base of extortion network there. From Jan.-2011 to April-2013, he worked as afinance collector under the supervision of Finance Secretary, Khaba and extorted Rs. 70 Lakhs. In 2014 he remained involved in smuggling of illegal arms from Myanmar. On 8/6/2014 he was arrested by Manipuri Police in FIR No. 214/06, of POROMPAT PS u/s 307/34 IPC, 20 UA(P) Act and 5 Ex. Sub. Act. After his release from jail he entered into a dispute with KK-Nigamba and formed his own terrorist groupKCP (PM) and started his own extortion and threatening network.  

PUKHRIHONGBAMIBOMCHA

Ibomcha, is the Ex-cadre of KangleiYawolKunnaLup (KYKL).He is an active cadre of KCP-POIREI MEITEI group and working under his chief KhoiromRanjit aka Rocky.  On 26.11.16, he planted grenade at JNIMS Hospital Porompat on the direction of KhoiromRanjit. A case vide FIR No. 351(11)2016, u/s 506/34 IPC& 4 Ex.Sub. Act was registered in PS Porompat, Imphal East. On 29/11/16, at 8.30 PM he again planted a grenade at RIMS (Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal) ICU ward Imphal on the direction of Khoirom Ranjit. A case vide FIR No FIR No. 245(11)2016, PS  Lamphel Imphal West u/s 4 Ex.Sub. Act was registered. Pukhrihongbam Ibomcha is running a Jewelery shop in Santha Bazar near Yairipok bridge and extorting money at the behest of his chief.

MS.INUGBAMSANATOMBI DEVI
She is a young lady of 26 years and a close aide of Khoirom Ranjit aka Rocky. She is post graduate in Hindi. She writes all the extortion letters and even collects the extortion money. She was indoctrinated by Khoirom Ranjit to join his outfit. Presently she is staying with him.However, she is involved with Rocky in day to day activities of his organisation KCP( PM)
