A SENSATIONAL BLIND DOUBLE MURDER CASE CRACKED

With the arrests of 04 accused persons, the staff of West District have cracked a sensational case of double Murder reported vide Case FIR No.18/17 dated 12/01/2017 u/s 302/201 IPC of Police Station Moti Nagar, West Distt, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:-

1. Mohd. Azad S/o Lal Mohammad R/o JJ Colony Sakurpur Delhi. Age 23 years. He has been previously involved in 02 cases of thefts by cheating.
2. Sonu @ Sabu S/o Raish Khan R/o Jhuggi Camp under flyover, Jakira, Age 28 yrs.  He has been previously involved in 02 cases Arms Act & Robbery.

3. Akbar @ Guddu S/o Rukhinder R/o Jhuggi Camp under flyover, Jakira, Age 22 Yrs.
4. Samshad @ Junga S/o Nabi Hasan R/o JJ Colony Sakur Pur Delhi. Age 23 Yrs.

RECOVERY:-

1. Wallet of deceased persons containing their articles.
2. Shoes of the deceased person.
3. Bag of deceased person.
4. 60 Mobile phones.

INCIDENT:

On 12-01-2017 at 03:59 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Moti Nagar regarding one person lying without clothes near Jakhira Bus stop. Immediately, the police staff reached the spot and found two male dead bodies lying on DDA Land on the way towards L & T site from Jakhira Bus stop. Faces of both dead bodies were badly crushed and were likely damaged by hitting with big stones. Blood stained stones, empty liquor bottle etc. were found lying nearby. Pant & underwear of one of the dead body was found to be pulled down up to knees. It was a blind murder scene with no article found on the spot which could lead to their identification and further there was no eyewitness. Immediately, on the PCR call, a case vide FIR No.18/17 dated 12/01/2017 u/s 302/201 IPC was registered at PS Moti Nagar, West Distt, Delhi and investigation was taken up.

TEAM & INFORMATION: 

Keeping in view the brutality & gruesome nature of double murder, teams of local police led by Manish Jorwal, ACP/Probationer looking after the work of SHO/Moti Nagar under the supervision of Sh. Ankit Chauhan, ACP/Punjabi Bagh consisting of SHO/Punjabi Bagh, Inspr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Inspr. Kuldeep PS/Moti Nagar, Inspr. Shyoram, SI Pravesh Kaushik, SI Vikas Mudgal, SI Hira Lal, SI Sushil Malik, HC Om Bir, Ct Sunil, Ct. Bhoop Singh, Ct. Suresh, Ct.Sandeep & W/Ct Jawala alongwith the team of Special Staff/WD led by Inspr. Surender Singh Rathee under the supervision of Sh. H.S.P. Singh ACP/Operation consisting of ASI Bhawnesh Kumar, ASI Naresh Kumar, ASI Kirori Mal, ASI Vinod Kumar, HC Rupesh, Ct Vikrant, Ct. Amit Kumar, Ct. Satnarain & W/Ct. Divya were constituted to act swiftly.

Investigation was taken up by the Local Police and Special Staff/West District to workout the case. Foremost requirement was identification of the dead bodies. Accordingly, wide publicity was given in the locality as well as neighboring Districts on the basis of clothes & descriptions of both dead bodies. Records were checked all the missing persons of Delhi as well as neighbouring States. After constant efforts dead bodies were identified as Guljar @ Babu S/o Mohd. Mir Husain R/o Shastri Park, New Delhi & Anil Shah @ Ashok S/o Shabh Lal Shah R/o Onkar Nagar, Lawrence Road, Tri Nagar, Delhi. Technical tools were employed to check all the antidecent for the last few days missing persons.

Sources were deployed & intelligence was gathered about the activities of the deceased & their contacts. It was revealed that deceased Guljar @ Babu involved in the group who used to commit luggage thefts of innocent passengers at bus stands & railway stations while pretending to assist passengers for arranging to get confirmed their railway tickets.  Technical surveillances was employed to nab the accused which zeroed upon Azad group who had murdered two persons and subsequently with persistent, hard-working, delegance and raids at different places were conducted.

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation of the accused persons, it was revealed that Mohd. Azad along with his group members of 5 to 6 persons was involved/active for duping the innocent passengers on account of arranging the confirmed railway birth in the train near the bus stop & railway station in West & North-West, Delhi. During allurement, the group used to take away the luggage of the victims. Guljar @ Babu used to take money from this group of miscreants. Guljar @ Babu was pressuring the group to increase the money. When Mohd Azad had objected to it, he managed to got him arrested.  Activities of Azad Group were mainly affected by Guljar @ Babu. So, Mohd. Azad along with his group members decided to eliminate him. Accordingly, on 09.01.2017, at about 04.00 PM they assembled near Jakhira Bus stop. Mohd. Azad called Guljar @ Babu to the said place on the pretext of taking liquor together. Guljar @ Babu along with his associate Anil @ Shankar came at the said place. They took him towards DDA land in jungle on the way towards L&T site. One of the person from Azad group brought liquor & they started consuming it. When Guljar & Shankar were under influence of liquor, Azad & his above associates chocked their neck with hands & mufflers & strangulated them. Both fell on the ground then the faces were crushed with stone. Faces were badly damaged and became unidentifiable. All the articles which can lead to their identification were removed by them. Both the dead bodies were dragged in bushes to hide their identification and accused tried to run away from Delhi to avoid their apprehension & interrogation by Police.
