CRIME BRANCH WORKED OUT A BLIND MURDER CASE WITH THE ARREST OF ONE

  • TUSSLE FOR MERE RS. 50/100 COST THE LIFE OF A PERSON.  
Crime Branch has arrested a criminal Shambhu (50 yrs) s/o Chatra r/o H.No.G-275, G-Block, JJ Colony, Sawda, PS Kanjhawala, Delhi, u/s 41.1  Cr.P.C.  and worked out the blind murder case registered vide FIR No.01/2017 dated 01/01/2017 u/s 302 IPC, PS Kanjhawala, Delhi.
INCIDENT: - On 01/01/2017, the complainant Devi Din s/o Lachhu r/o G-216, JJ Colony, Sawda, Kanjhawala, Delhi reported vide FIR No.01/2017 u/s 302 IPC PS Kanjhawala that on 31/12/16, his son Malkhan went to give curry to one of their neighbor but didn’t return and on next morning, his dead body with injury marks on neck was found in a “Kothra” (abandoned house) near canal, adjacent to their colony.  
INFORMATION & OPERATION: -      
On 06.01.17, a credible information was received by ASI Narender and Ct Lalit that a person named Shambhu, who alongwith his associate Mobin had murdered a person named Malkhan in the area of Kanjhawala, would come at Bus Stand, Haryana Senior Secondary School, Kanjhawala to go out of Delhi and if trap is laid he could be apprehended. The information was shared with senior officers on which a raiding team led by ACP Sandeep Lamba, consisting of Inspr. Lokendra, SI Davinder, ASIs Pramod, Satender, Narender, HC Neeraj, Cts Ajay, Ghanshyam and Lalit was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall guidance of Addl. CP K.K. Vyas. A trap was laid at the designated place and at the instance of secret informer, Shambhu was apprehended.

On sustained interrogation, he disclosed that he and Mobin both worked as masons and were known to Malkhan, who also resides in their colony. In the evening of 31/12/2016, he alongwith Mobin and Malkhan were consuming alcohol near canal. During consumption of alcohol, a quarrel took place between Mobin and Malkhan on a matter involving just Rs.50/100. Being friend of Mobin, he also supported Mobin. They both beat Malkhan with the intention to kill him. With his help, Mobin attacked on the neck of Malkhan with a pointed weapon. As blood started oozing out, he fled away from the spot. He was arrested u/s 41.1 CrPC and was produced in the Court from where he was handed over to local police for further investigation.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
