SENSATIONAL ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE REPORTED IN UTTAM NAGAR AREA SOLVED WITH THE ARREST OF MASTERMIND


  • SENSATIONAL SHOOT-OUT & ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE IN WHICH FOUR PERSONS SUSTAINED BULLET INJURIES REPORTED IN THE AREA OF PS UTTAM NAGAR SOLVED.
  • MASTER MIND OF THE SHOOT OUT ARRESTED.


INTRODUCTION:
A person namely Jabbar Khan, 35 years resident of C 541 Hastal, Uttam Nagar has been arrested in the sensational attempt to murder case reported in the area of P.S. Uttam Nagar on  09.01.17.  Jabbar had played an instrumental role in planning and executing this crime which resulted in shoot out causing bullet injuries to 04 persons. Case FIR No. 14/17 U/S 307 IPC & 27 Arms Act dated 09.01.17 was registered in this regard at P.S.Uttam Nagar.  
INCIDENT:
On 09.01.17 at about 11:30 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Uttam Nagar regarding firing incident at JJ Colony Hastal Uttam Nagar. Local police reached at spot and it was reported that 4 persons with gunshot injury have been taken to DDU Hospital. In hospital, victim Akaram S/O Baniya Khan R/O B-164 JJ Colony Hastal got recorded his statement that he was at his office at B-70 JJ Colony Hastal with his friends. At about 11:15 PM 4 – 5 persons with fire arms entered into his office and started firing indiscriminately and ran away after it. The incident left 4 persons seriously injured including the complainant.




TEAM:
Taking note of firing incident in public view, which caused panic and outrage in the residents of the area, Special Staff/SWD was tasked to arrest the accused persons involved in the incident and subsequently a strong team of police officials of Special Staff  and PS Uttam Nagar of South West District led by Inspector Ramesh Kumar & Insp KP Malik and comprising SI Naveen Kumar,  ASI Mahaveer, ASI Vinay Vats, ASI Bijender, ASI Jaiveer Singh, ASI Hans, HC Raj Kumar,  Ct.Ashok Sangwan,  Ct Praveen & Ct Vipin, under the close supervision of Sh. Rajender Singh, ACP/Operation, was formed.
ARREST:
The team worked relentlessly and analyzed CDRs of several numbers. Surveillance was also mounted and several persons were rounded up and interrogated. The raids were also conducted in Delhi, Rajasthan, Bahadurgarh, Rohtak and Jhajjar areas. The efforts bore fruits and the accused Jabbar Khan was arrested during a joint raid of Special Staff/SWD and PS Uttam Nagar, in the morning of 13.01.17.
INTERROGATION:
  Accused person was interrogated at length and he revealed that he was in contact with a few persons who run satta activities.  Sikender was his friend who used to give him money to protect his business and also asked him to settle score with his other counterparts indulged in similar activities in other areas. Hence, he being the resident of Hastal area collected information of such activities and got a specific information that victim had been running some satta activities at his office in Uttam Nagar and huge cash can be robbed from there.  Hence, he hired a few gun carrying assailants and asked these persons to rob his rival satta den.  He along with his accomplices reached to the targeted shop and showed them the shop.  He kept on standing outside and asked other gun carrying persons to barge inside the Shop of rival group and rob the money kept there.  He also directed them to open indiscriminate fire if anybody resisted their attempt to take away the cash from the shop. All the six gun carrying persons barged inside the shop and when resisted by the inmates opened indiscriminate fire which resulted in gunshot injuries to Akram 28 years, Devender 26 years, Sajjid 28 years and Kallu 26 years.  They all survived.
