ACCUSED IS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF DESPERATE ‘SADDAM GAURI’ GANG OF WEST AND SOUTH-WEST DISTRICTS OF DELHI

  • FUGITIVE CRIMINAL RAVINDER @ RAVI WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE ARRESTED, WHICH OCCURRED DUE TO HIS INTENTION TO OUTRAGE MODESTY OF A GIRL.
  • THE GANG IS INDULGED IN COLLECTING EXTORTION MONEY FROM DIFFERENT ‘SATTA’ OPERATORS IN WEST AND SOUTH-WEST DISTRICTS OF DELHI.      
  • ASI RANDHAWA CONTINUES TO EXCEL BY TAKING OUTSTANDING ACTION AGAINST DESPERATE NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS.
INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has arrested a fugitive criminal Ravinder @ Ravi (30 yrs) s/o Bharat Singh r/o L-161, Type-2, Aaram Bagh, Paharganj, Delhi on 13 Jan 2017, who was wanted in a sensational attempt to murder case of PS Janak Puri, Delhi in which the accused opened fire on a passersby who restricted the accused persons from molesting a girl. The accused is an active member of desperate ‘Saddam Gauri’ gang, active in West and South-West Districts of Delhi and is previously involved in several criminal cases.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
A secret information was received by ASI Randhawa that a desperate criminal Ravinder @ Ravi, who is wanted in a sensational attempt to murder case of PS Janakpuri, would come near Metro Station Sec. 10, Dwarka to meet his aides. This information was further developed and a team led by ACP Jasbir Singh, consisting of Insp. Yashpal, ASIs Mahesh Tyagi, Randhawa, Cts. Ravinder and Rahul was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and under overall guidance of Addl.CP KK Vyas to nab the criminal. Accordingly, a trap was laid near the expected place of his arrival and accused Ravinder @ Ravi was successfully apprehended. On interrogation, he confessed his involvement in attempt to murder case of PS Janak Puri. Subsequently, he was arrested under appropriate sections of law.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE: -
Accused Ravinder @ Ravi basically belongs to a middle class family. He has studied upto MBA. His father is an employee in CPWD. He has two brothers and one sister in his family. In the year 2010, he came in contact with local criminals and joined Saddam Gauri gang, active in West and South-West Districts of Delhi, which is indulged in several heinous offences, running Satta Mafia and extorting money from other satta operators. Accused remained involved in several criminal cases and arrested 4-5 times by police.
He further disclosed that on 19.12.16 at about 10.30 he alongwith his associates namely Anshu Gupta, Ramesh @ Kaku and Pradeep @ Monu @ Naag were trying to outrage modesty of a girl near Tilak Pul area. One passerby interfered and asked them not to do so and as a result, they got enraged. On that, Anshu Gupta threatened him on gun point. On their instigation, he fired upon the good sensation. Thereafter, he alongwith associates, fled from the spot. Later, Anshu and Ramesh were arrested but Ravi alongwith Pradeep @ Monu @ Naag were evading arrest. The weapon of offence i.e. 7.65 bore pistol was further given by the accused Ravinder @ Ravi to his friend Apache r/o Uttam Nagar.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
