Rajender Singh was constituted.  HC Pratap was deployed as decoy customer who along with a shadow witness struck the deal with accused persons.   A trap was laid near Shamshan Ghat, Kiran Garden, Bindapur and at about 4:00 PM accused persons Ashish @ Keju and Krishan Bhardwaj @ Netaji arrived there and each handed over Rs. 4000/- in Rs. 500 denominations to HC Pratap and received Rs. 2000/- from him.
