SENSATIONAL SHOOTOUT AND ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE REPORTED IN PS AMBEDKAR NAGAR SOLVED WITH THE ARREST OF ACCUSED RAKESH @ RAKA.

Crime Branch has arrested one absconding notorious criminal named Rakesh @ Raka s/o Ashok Kumar r/o 15/227, Dakshinpuri, who was wanted in case FIR No.687/16 dated 5/12/16 u/s 307/34 IPC PS Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: - On 26/12/16, a secret information was received regarding Rakesh @ Raka s/o Ashok Kumar r/o 15/227, Dakshinpuri, who was wanted in case FIR No.687/16 dated 5/12/16 u/s 307/34 IPC PS Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi and was continuously shifting his base. A specific information was received that he would come near CNG Pump, Sarai Kale Khan to meet his aides.
A team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, consisting of Inspr. Neeraj Chaudhary, SI Vishal Chaudhary, ASIs Jai Parkash, Devender, HCs Surender, Shailender, Cts Devender and Naveen was constituted under overall supervision of DCP Madhur Verma and under overall supervision of Addl.CP K.K.Vyas to nab him. Surveillance was mounted at CNG Petrol Pump, Sarai Kale Khan and he was apprehended by the team and arrested under the appropriate sections of law. 

INTERROGATION AND PROFILE: - Accused Rakesh was born in Dakshinpuri, Delhi. He has studied upto 10th standard and his father worked as an auto driver. He worked as an AC mechanic and fell in bad company in Dakshin Puri area.
He had disclosed that on 4/12/16, he alongwith Tarun, had fired on Ompal and Vinod, because there was a fight in the past between Tarun and Vinod and Tarun was brutally beaten up by Vinod. Tarun was a good friend of accused Rakesh @ Raka and he was outraged due to his beating by Vinod. Local police of PS Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi has been informed about the arrest of the accused person.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
