SENSATIONAL SHOOT-OUT CASE OF PS UTTAM NAGAR SOLVED. 

3 CRIMINALS INCLUDING SHARP SHOOTER OF RAJESH BAWANIA & PRADEEP SOLANKI GANG ARRESTED.

ONE PISTOL USED IN OFFENCE RECOVERED WITH 10 LIVE ROUNDS.

A team of police officials of Special Staff of South West District led by Inspector Ramesh Kumar and comprising Insp KP Malik, SI Naveen Kumar,  ASI Mahaveer, ASI Dharambir, ASI Bijender, ASI Jaiveer Singh, HC Raj Kumar,  Ct.Ashok Sangwan,  Ct Ashwani, Ct Sandeep, Ct Devprakash, Ct Shailender & Ct Vipin, under the close supervision of ACP/Operation Sh. Rajender Singh, arrested 3 accused persons including a sharp shooter Sunil who is the mastermind of the shootout and member of Rajesh Bawania/Pradeep Solanki gang.  The accused were involved in shoot-out  in   the area of PS Uttam Nagar in FIR No. 29/17  U/S 323/336/506/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act dated 16.01.17 PS Uttam Nagar.  

Incident:

On 16.01.17 at about 04:30 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Uttam Nagar regarding firing incident at Peepal Road, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar. Local police reached at spot and it was reported that 10-12  persons entered office of Surya  Builders and created ruckus by  thrashing, threatening and firing indiscriminately to establish fear of the gang over builders and businessmen so that they can encroach upon lands in the area illegally.  FIR No.29/17 U/S 323/336/506/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act dated 16.01.17 PS Uttam Nagar was registered regarding the incident.

 Team and Operation:

Taking note of broad day light incident of firing in public view, which caused fear, panic and outrage in residents of the area, Special  Staff/SWD was tasked to arrest the culprits and  a special team was formed. Accordingly the team worked relentlessly and analysed CDRs of several numbers. Secret informers were deployed, surveillance was put on several persons and many suspects were interrogated. The raids were also conducted at different hideouts of main accused Sunil and his associates in Delhi/NCR. The efforts also revealed that main accused Sunil is a members of dreaded Rajesh Bawania & Pradeep Solanki gang. He was associate of  Pradeep Solanki previously and  once arrested with him in a case of auto-lifting. After arrest of Rajesh Bawania, Pradeep Solanki took over the command of the gang. After that Pradeep Solanki and other members of gang were also arrested and Sunil @ Sheelu started operating the gang while Pradeep Solanki and Rajesh Bawania continued to direct the activities of the gang from inside the jail. On the specific information of SI Naveen Kumar and ASI Mahavir, accused Sunil @ Sheelu was arrested from Anaj Mandi Najafgarh. Subsequently on his instance his associates namely Roshan @ Chhota & Hardeep Dagar were also arrested, during a joint raid of Special Staff/SWD and local police.  Accused Sunil was interrogated at length and he revealed that he had planned to extort huge amount of money by instilling fear in the builders and businessmen of the area. He had attempted to grab a plot at R-1/11 Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar valuing in crores of rupees which was in possession of the complainant. Sunil planned to create the intensive fear so that Rakesh leaves the plot under pressure of the criminals and he can encroach upon it. Complainant initially received the threatening calls made by Pradeep Solanki from Bhondsi Jail. On the direction of Pradeep Solanki, he, alongwith his associates, reached at the office of complainant and started assaulting the persons present there and also fired few rounds. Raids are being conducted in search of remaining co-accused persons.

Arrested Persons:

1. Sunil Kumar @ Sheelu S/O Umed Singh R/O RZ-88, Lokesh Park, Najafgarh, Age- 32 Yrs
2. Roshan @ Chhota S/O Sahdev R/O  RZ-26, Roshan Pura, Najafgarh. Age- 30 Yrs.
3. Hardeep Dagar S/O Jainarayan Dagar R/O VPO- Jharoda Kalan, ND, Age- 24 Yrs

 

Profiles of Accused:

Sunil Kumar is permanent native of Village- Barhana, Distt-Jhajjar (Haryana) and is 12th standard pass. His family shifted to Delhi a few years back. He fell into bad company during teenage and was first arrested in 2004 in an Arms Act case. He was inspired from gangsters like Manjeet Mahal, Krishan Pahalwan and Neeraj Bawania. He wanted to become top gangster of area. He came in contact with Pradeep Solanki in 2009 and indulged in extortion and threatening activities. He was arrested in 2009 with Pradeep Solanki while found in possession of stolen/robbed cars. After coming out of jail he joined the gang and involved himself in the gang activities.

Roshan @ Chhota is permanent resident of Mugalsarai (UP) and had shifted to Delhi before 20 years ago. He is 7th standard pass. He was first arrested in 2011 in a case of attempt to murder of PS Najafgarh. He worked as bus driver also. He came into contact of Suneel @ Sheelu last year and started involving himself in landgrabbing activities.

Hardeep Dagar is permanent resident of Jharoda Kalan and is 8th standard pass. He is also a bus driver. He became friend of Roshan @ Chhota as both were driving on same bus route. He was unemployed since last few months and was need of money. He joined the gang to earn quick money and started involving himself in land grabbing & other criminal activities.
