TWO NIGERIAN NATIONAL INVOLVED IN DRUG TRAFFICKING ARRESTED


  • 492 GMS OF FINE QUALITY COCAINE RECOVERED FROM  POSSESSION OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS
  • VALUE OF RECOVERED DRUGS IS RS. 10 LACS IN INDIAN MARKET AND RS. 2 CRORE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
  • RECOVERED DRUG WAS TO BE CONSUMED IN DELHI.
Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch has busted a network of drug peddlers supplying narcotics drugs in Delhi and has arrested two Nigerian national namely (1) KENNEDY DOMINIC S/O DOMINIC R/O AGBALA OWERRI NORTH STATE, NIGERIA AGE 34 YRS and (2) ANAYO GODSWILL S/O WILSON R/O 135 OLD EXPRESS ROAD, ABA NIGERIA AGE 35 YRS.  KENNEDY DOMINIC came to India in 2014 and his associate co accused ANAYO GODSWILL the main Kingpin came to India 8 years ago.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
  1. On 01.04.2017, an information was received through secret informer  that one Nigerian national named Kennedy residing somewhere in Uttam Nagar Delhi is indulged in sale & supply of cocaine in Delhi and he would come to supply cocaine to someone near Som Bazar Chowk, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. On this information, a team of Narcotics Cell officials laid a trap near Som Bazar Chowk, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and on the instance of informer above named Nigerien National was apprehended and on his search, 210 gram fine quality Cocaine woth Rs. 10 lakhs (approx.) was recovered from his possession. During sustained interrogation, accused Kennedy Dominic disclosed that he used to sell & supply cocaine on higher price after obtaining the same from another Nigerian National namely Anayo Godswill at cheaper rates.

  1. On the pointing out of accused Kennedy Dominic, house of main Kingpin namely Anayo Godswill was located and the main Kingpin Anayo Godswill was apprehended on the instance of accused Kennedy Dominic, from his rented house A-15 (2nd Floor) D.K. Road, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar. During house search of Anayo Godswill, further 282 gram cocaine was recovered.

During interrogation, it revealed that Anayo Godswill had come to India 8 years back and started living with an Indian woman in live-in-relationship at the above mentioned rented premises and indulged in sale & supply of cocaine in Delhi and nearby areas.  The money he earned from the sale of drug was invested by him in exporting Indian Sarees to Nigeria where his elder brother is having a garment shop.
  1. During interrogation, it was also revealed that Anayo Godswill was living a lavish lifestyle and spent a lot of money on his African girlfriends. It is suspected that he is having property in India in the name of his Indian female partner. Investigation in this regard is being done.
PROFILE:-
  1. Accused Kennedy Dominic s/o Dominic r/o Agbala, Owerri North State, Nigeria is a married graduate having Diploma in Power Energy. He came to India in February 2014 on business visa.  Verification of visa and passport is under process. He is residing in Uttam Nagar with a Nigerian women since his arrival in India.  He has one elder brother who is working in a Power Supply Company.  After arrival in Uttam Nagar he came in contact with Anayo Godswill and started supplying cocaine after procuring the same from him.
  1. Accused Anayo Godswill s/o Wilson r/o 135 Old Express Road, ABA Nigeria is also an undergraduate and came to India 8 years ago on business visa.  He was found residing in a rented house No. A-15 (2nd Floor) D.K. Road, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi with an Indian female partner and stated to be married with her in the year 2008. To earn money and spend a lavish life he indulged in the sale & supply of cocaine and heroin in Delhi and adjoining area.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
