BLIND AND BRUTAL MURDER CASE WORKED-OUT IN 72 Hrs.

BLIND MURDER CASE SOLVED :-

With the arrest of accused Pawan Bhatia S/o Sh. Gulshan Bhatia R/o H. No. 33, Gali No. 88, Near Apex School, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, aged about 26 years Police of North Distt. has worked out sensational blind and brutal murder case of PS Timarpur within 72 Hrs. and also recovered vehicles used in the incidents.

INCIDENT /BRIEF FACTS:-

On 31/03/2017 a PCR Call vide DD No. 9A, dt. 31-03-2017 was received in PS Timarpur, Delhi that “caller had found chopped hand of two persons in pillow cover near Gopal Pur Red Light on Ring Road” and the same was marked to ASI Ashok. By receiving the PCR call IO rushed to the spot and it was found that two chopped hand and head of male person were laying in pillow cover. Search of other body parts was made. One chopped leg (Left) was also found near Burari Red Light Outer Ring Road approx. 300 meter distance from the spot and another chopped leg (Right) was found at outer ring road approx. 800 meter distance from the spot.  A Yellow and White Colour linedar sweater, a dark blue Jeans type pant, one sky blue colour shirt, a red and blue linedar readymade half lower were found near Gopal Pur Red Light approx. 150 meter distance from the spot. At 12.30 PM after receiving information SHO/Timarpur alongwith staff reached at Water Works No. 2 near Sanjay Akahara where middle part of body was found, in a plastic bag. In this regard, a case FIR No. 137/17 U/s 302/201 IPC has been registered in PS Timarpur, Delhi.

INVESTIGATION AND TEAM

During the investigation a Team of staff of Police Station Timarpur under leadership of Inspr. O. P. Thakur, SHO/Timarpur, under close supervision of Senior officers was constituted. All the parts of dead body were collected and sent to mortuary. All out and exhaustive efforts were made for identification of deceased. After announcement in local area of PS Timarpur and Burari, detail scrutiny of  CCTV footages of nearby area and checking of missing persons website, the team succeeded in identifying one missing person in  the jurisdiction of PS Burari namely Nitin age about 26 Years resembling the features of the recovered dead body. On this the family members of the missing person, Nitin were contacted and they identified the deceased as Nitin @ Sumit @ Bhole S/o Lalsa Parshad R/o H. No. 3469, Gali No. 92, Sant Nagar Burari, Delhi. Upon questioning of friends of the deceased a clue was obtained that deceased was last seen at Chemist Shop at Sant Nagar. On this CCTV footage of Chemist Shop and nearby area were obtained and it was found that the deceased had a conversation with a person and went away on bike with the same person. This person was identified as Happy. Police launched a hunt for Happy and his associates and search the residence of Happy. When the house of Pawan, a close friend of Happy was searched blood was found inside the box of bed. This person Pawan who was absconding was apprehended and upon sustained interrogation he revealed the entire story. On this accused person Pawan Bhatia S/o Gulshan Bhatia R/o H. No. 33, Gali No. 88, Near Apex School, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, aged about 26 years has been arrested. On the instance of accused used items have been recovered and sized.

MODUS OPERANDI:-

During interrogation the accused revealed that an incident occurred during the year  2015 that two boys brother of accused Pawan and Happy was drowned  in Yamuna River while they were celebrating a party with deceased Nitin @ Sumeet @ Bhole on bank of Yamuna River. Both of the accused persons assumed that deceased was the reason of drowning. Both hatch a conspiracy to kill the deceased whenever they shall get a chance of revenge. On 30-03-2017 accused Happy pick the deceased on his motorcycle for the residence of  accused Pawan for celebrating party. Accused Happy murdered him and concealed his body in the bed and inform his parents and accused Pawan that he has taken his revenge and ask accused Pawan also to take his revenge. On this accused Pawan took out the body of deceased from the bed and chopped his head, arms and legs.

1. One White Colour Wagon 'R' No. HR – 26 AS 3712 – owner Dinesh S/o Hargyan Singh R/o Village & Post Jharkha, Gurgaon, Haryana.
2. One Hero Honda CBZ M/Cycle No. DL 7 S AR 4221, owner Late Sh. Vishal Kapoor @ Vicky S/o Sh. Sunil Kapoor R/o H. No. 35/09, Gali No. 18, A Block, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi.
3. One Wooden Bed.
4. Ashes of burnt clothes.

BACKGROUND & PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS OF ACCUSED PERSONS :-  

1. Accused Pawan Bhatia S/o Sh. Gulshan Bhatia R/o H. No. 33, Gali No. 88, Near Apex School, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, aged about 26 years.  He studied up to 9th class.  Previously he was Involved in many cases of theft and burglary under the jurisdiction of Police Station Burari, Mukherji Nagar and Swaroop Nagar.

2. Accused Happy Kapoor S/o Sh. Sunil Kapoor R/o 35/09, Gali No. 18, A-Block, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, aged about 26 years has been identified but still is absconding. The efforts are being made to arrest him. He has also been involved in theft and burglary cases of Police Station Tilak Nagar, Mianwali and Burari.
