BLIND MURDER CASE OF PS DARYAGANJ SOLVED WITHIN 48 HOURS

EX-HUSBAND ARRESTED : WEAPON OF OFFENCE RECOVERED

With the arrest of accused Chiraguddin aged 40 years s/o Hussain Baksh r/o Amroha, UP, the staff of Police Station Darya Ganj, Central District has solved a blind murder case in which dead body of an unknown female was found lying at Service Road, Rajghat on 30.03.17.

INCIDENT
On 30.03.17 at 11:45 AM, an information was received at PS Darya Ganj that a female dead body was lying on Service Road, Rajghat, Daryaganj, Delhi.  On receipt of this information, Inspr. Satender Mohan SHO/Darya Ganj, Inspr. Inv. Vinod Kumar along with staff rushed the spot and found a dead body of a female aged about 28-30 years, lying in grass near wall, Service Road, Rajghat, Darya Ganj. On inspection of the dead body, multiple stab injuries were found. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 75/17 u/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Daryaganj and the investigation was taken up.    

TEAM
Considering the gravity of the offence, several teams headed by Inspr. Satender Mohan SHO/Darya Ganj, Inspr. Investigation Vinod Kumar, comprising SI Pritam Singh, SI Surender, SI Mukesh Tomar, ASI Gajendra, ASI Kanhiya, ASI Sohanveer, HC Satbir, Ct. Rakesh were formed under the supervision of Sh. Lalit Mohan, ACP/Darya Ganj.

INVESTIGATION/INTERROGATION
On the basis of identification marks, wearing clothes of deceased and technical surveillance, the dead body was identified as Shahana @ Munni w/o Nisar r/o Second Pusta, New Usmanpur, Delhi.

During further investigation, it was revealed that about 9 years ago, the deceased was got married with one Chiraggudin @ Chanu s/o Hussain Baksh r/o Mohalla Jaad Bazar, Near Police Choki, Amroha, UP who was a E-Rickshaw puller in Delhi. From this wedlock, two children were born. After marriage, Chiraguudin was living with deceased in Amroha while he was working as rickshaw puller in Delhi and slept on the footpath of G.B. Road. He used to visit his house at Amroha on occasional basis. The deceased Shahana @ Munni was not happy in Amroha and wanted to live with her husband in Delhi. She pressurized him for shifting to Delhi but Chiraguddin was not agreed. During this dispute, Shahana met with one Nasir about one year ago and soon they shifted to Delhi where they got married and started living in a rented room at 2nd Pushta, New Usman Pur, Delhi. She also took away both the children with her. Chiraguddin was unhappy with this episode. He met Shahana and tried to convince her to go with him and he was partially agreed to live with her in Delhi but despite several efforts, he failed to get her convinced. Chiraguddin got fed up with all happened in his life for which he claimed Shahana to be responsible.  His all efforts to restore his married life were failed so he planned to eliminate Shahana for her deflection. On 29.03.17 he called Shahana for a meeting and met her at Fawara Chowk, Chandni Chowk, Delhi. He again requested her to restore their family life but the deceased refused to live with him. Then, Chiraguddin took her to a deserted place near Rajghat by his E-Rickshaw on the intervening night of 29/30 March, 2017 where they argued each other on the point of restoration of their married life. On failing which, accused Chiraguddin stabbed her with a knife. She got multiple stab injuries on her neck and stomach. After the death of deceased, accused ran away from the spot.  
During further investigation, it was revealed that Chiraguddin used to sleep on the footpath near Rickshaw Garage, G.B. Road. Subsequently, on the evening of 01.04.17, he was arrested from there. Further, the knife used in commission of crime and blood stained cloths have been recovered at the instance of accused.  The battery rickshaw which was used in the crime has also been recovered and seized.
