OVERSEAS FAKE AGENT'S RACKET BEING RUN BY A COUPLE AND THEIR ASSOCIATE BUSTED

 The staff of PS Subhash Place, North-West district has busted a racket who cheat job seekers on the pretext of providing job in overseas. The alleged have been identified as Arun kumar aka Raj Marwah aged 44 years and his wife who run a company in the name of ‘Job Mantra’. Arun Kumar’s wife was one of the directors of the company.  
Incident
A complaint of one Vikas Kalia r/o Hamirpur (HP) was received in the PS wherein it was revealed that last year he got a mail from a company named Job Mantra recruiters who claimed to arrange/provide a job for him in Singapore & Dubai. Later on one lady contacted him telephonically & told him that their company would charge Rs.20,000/- towards processing fee for arranging job in Singapore within 3 months. The company would return the money if it failed to provide the job. After receiving the amount, the company started avoiding his calls & later on the company switched off their phones & shifted their office to unknown place. Accordingly a case vide FIR 110/17 Dt.17/03/17 U/S 420 IPC was registered at PS-Subhash Place & the investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation the complaints of 25 other innocent persons duped by the said company with the same modus operandi were received at PS adding the financial tone of more than 6 lakh. During the course of investigation it was revealed that the Perpetrators/Directors of Job Mantra have been taking the premises in high value commercial area like NSP on rent and also keeps their offices shifting frequently with the sole purpose to win over the confidence of innocent victims. The modus operandi of Job Mantra was to lure the unemployed youth and further duped them by making a false promise of arranging a job in Singapore & Dubai. For that the company has also created a job portal of Job Mantra on a web page also.
Investigation
During the course of investigation in order to identify and arrest the accused persons a team comprising of SI Shri Narayan Ojha , HC Anand 379/NW and Ct Rameshwar No 2092/NW,  led by Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO Subhash Place and under the supervision of Sh. Raja Banthia, IPS, ACP/Sarashwati Vihar was constituted and was assigned the task to gear up their resources and develop human intelligence about the accused persons.
       
Finally, as a result of continuous, relentless, diligent and professional efforts, based on investigation and documentary evidences, the key conspirator Arun Kumar aka Raj Marwah and his wife one of the Director of the firm have been arrested and sufficient incriminating evidences have been gathered/ recovered. The accused Arun Kumar and his wife were arrested on 19.4.17 and 20.4.17 respectively. They kept changing their residence to avoid police. They were presently living on rent in Faridabad. One of the directors of Job Mantra namely Manmohan Singh is still at large and proceedings are being carried out to arrest him as well.     
Modus Operandi
The accused persons used to approach the victims through telephone numbers and e-mails through their employees by establishing a well furnished office in high profile area i.e Netaji Subhash Place, Delhi. The alleged persons also get their firms registered with Govt. Department and display the same in their office and also on internet by creating a web page to allure the innocent persons easily. Further they issue cheque to few aggrieved persons to pacify them however the cheque never en-cashed. By this way they keep on enjoying the pyramid business of cheating innocent and needy persons.  During the course of investigation it has been revealed that Directors of company have also floated different companies like Success Domain & Track to success on the web portals also and have collected huge amount from innocent people through their company also. There are complaints amounting to financial tone of more than three lakh have been received against both the above named companies.
Profile of the accused

   Accused Arun Kumar aka Raj Marwah is not that literate but he has very good communication skills to impress any person. He has the habit of earning easy money and relishing life. The co-accused and his wife is also not that literate but she too plays a key role in commission of crime.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
