FIVE DESPERATE CRIMINALS ARRESTED

  • FOUR DESI KATTA, TWO PISTOL AND 5 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED
  • ONE HONDA CITY CAR AND STOLEN CLOTHES RECOVERED
In two separate incidents, because of intensive checking and patrolling 4 desi katta, 2 pistols and 5 live cartridges among other things were recovered and five persons arrested.
INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION-P.S. GTB ENCLAVE
Incidents of early morning burglaries in Jhilmil Industrial area were reported. In order to work out that, a team of special staff comprising of ASI Ashok Rana, ASI Prahlad, HC Om Dutt, HC Vinay, HC. Kavinder  and HC Kanwar Pal  headed by Insp. Heera Lal, I/C, Special staff, Shahdara District was on patrolling on 30.03.17.  At about 11.20 am, A trap was laid near the restaurant and a dark grey Honda City Car was stopped near Honda Showroom, with license plate No. DL-4CAB-5647. On checking, 3 Desi katta and 5 cartridges were recovered from their possession. Name and addresses of these accused were revealed as- (1) Azim @ Ajay @ Ashu @ Shahzad s/o Hanif r/o Mohalla Hakimpura, Village- Sahaspur, P.S. Shivhara, Distt. Bijnaur, UP. (2) Asif @ Sattar Ahmad s/o Hazi Anwar r/o U-247, Gali No.-14, Subhash Mohalla, Maujpur, New Usman Pur, Delhi. (3) Salim @ Salik S Akram @ Santosh S/o Mohd Aslam R/o Village Sohal PS Hafis Ganj Distt Bareli UP (4) Sajid @ Firoz S/o Mohd Saleem R/o Kasim Vihar Near Badi Masjid Loni Nagar Palika Ghaziabad U.P. During initial enquiry these accused revealed that they had stolen this Honda City Car from Karol Bagh, which was found to be stolen from Prasad Nagar vide E -FIR  No. 009334 u/s 379 IPC PS Parsad Nagar Delhi. Besides, 7 jeans and 6 shirts, which were stolen, were also recovered from the car.  3 Desi katta, cartridges, Honda City Car, 7 jeans and 6 shirts were seized by the police and a case vide FIR No. 90/17, u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act & 411/482/34 IPC, P.S. GTB Enclave was registered against these accused. Accused Salim, Azim and Sattar Ahmad had previously remained involved in very heinous crimes including murder.


INTERROGATION
The accused disclosed that they used to steal vehicles from the various parts of Delhi for commission of offence like robbery and burglary with the help of cutter. After committing offence they used to leave the stolen vehicles at some isolated place. Arranging desi katta and cartridges was not a big task for them. They managed 3 desi katta, which they purchased from UP. They used to sell stolen articles in Karol Bagh to unknown persons and squatters.

INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION- SEEMA PURI
A team under the leadership Sh. Hareshwar V. Swami, ACP/Seema Puri was formed   comprising  Insp. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO/Seema Puri,  SI Visvendra, Ct. Pradeep & Ct. Sumit was constituted to curb the firing and robbery incident in the area of PS Seema Puri  On 30.03.2017, a secret information was received that a criminal R/o Machi Market is in possession of illegal weapons, who is going to supply the weapons to some hard core criminals. Immediately a raid was conducted and apprehended a person who was identified as Imran. On being searched, two pistols and one Desi Katta were recovered from the possession of accused and a FIR No. 204/17 u/s 25 A. Act, P.S. Seema Puri was registered in this regard.
INTERROGATION –P.S. SEEMA PURI
On through interrogation, the accused Imran disclosed that he along with his elder brother Firoz used to purchase pistols and Desi Katta from UP and further sell it to criminals in Delhi.

ARRESTED PERSON PROFILE-GTB ENCLAVE
  1. Asif @Sattar s/o Hazi Anwar R/o H.No. 247 Gali No. 14 Subhash Mohalla Moujpur, Delhi.Age 31 yrs. He was previously found involved in 5 cases.


2. Salim @ Salik S Akram @ Santosh S/o Mohd Aslam R/o Village Sohal PS Hafis Ganj Distt Bareli UP. Age 36 yrs. He is previously found involved in 34 cases.
  1. Mohd Ajim @Ajay @Ajju S/o Mohd Hanif R/o Mohalla Hakimpura Kasba Sehaspur  Bijnor UP Age 25 yrs.( previously arrested in 5 cases):- He was involved in a case of murder of Delhi Police Constable vide FIR No. 109/08, u/s 307/302/120B IPC, P.S. Kapashera. In this incident, he was carrying beef (Cow Meat) in a TATA 407. When the police patrol vehicles and police personnel tried to stop his Tempo, he did not stopped and extended the speed of his tempo. At Bajheda Picet, Kapashera border, one PCR tried to stop this tempo with barricades and PCR Van, the accused intentionally hit the PCR Van in full speed. The Tempo dragged the PCR Van for long distance. H.Ct. Naresh Kumar lost his life in this incident.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
