THAK THAK’ GANG MEMBERS ARRESTED

The team of Special Staff & Anti Snatching Cell/West District have arrested three members of Thak Thak Gang namely (1) Aman (2) Chandan & (3) Subhash.  From their possession/instance 01 Laptop and 05 Mobile phones have been recovered, which were later on found snatched viz. various cases of from different PSs of West, Outer & Rohini District. The vehicles used in commission of crime were also recovered. Total 06 cases have been worked out.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:-
  1. Aman S/o R Mugam R/o Madangir, Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi, Age- 23 years.
He has 04 previous involvements.
  1. Chandan S/o Murgesh R/o Madangir, Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi Age- 32 years.
  2. Subhash S/o Sunder Raj R/o Madangir, Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi. Age- 22 years.
DETAILS OF TEAM:-
On secret information of HC Rupesh, a team of Special Staff & Anti Snatching Cell/WD comprising of SI Sandeep Dabas, ASI Naresh, ASI Bhawnesh Kumar, ASI Ishwar Sing, ASI Shashi Kant, ASI Kirori Mal, ASI Vinod, HC Vikash, Ct Amit & Ct Yogesh headed by Inspr. Surender Singh Rathee under the supervision of Sh Jagjeet Singh Sangwan, ACP/ Operation Cell/West District was constituted to act swiftly. The team laid the trap and apprehended the above said accused persons on 31/01/2017 from road near Keshopur Sabji Mandi, Outer Ring Road, Delhi.
INTERROGATION
On sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they are living in Madangir Delhi and are committing crime along with their Gang leader Aman & R Mugam r/o Madangir. They operate in a group of 4 to 6 people & use 02 or 03 Motor Cycle. They usually target the car which has a bag or suitcase on the rear seat or footrest of the car. They divert the attention of the victim by puncturing the rear vehicle of the car, sprinkling engine oil on the bonnet or radiator of car or by pretext of accident or dashing into the vehicle. When victim comes out of the car one of the gang member takes away the bag from the car. They also commit snatching of mobile phones & bags at opportunity.  They prefer targeting victims on open roads/highways from where they can escape easily. They dispose off the snatched/robbed electronic gadgets i.e Laptop & Mobile Phones etc. to the labours in Subji Mandi areas like Azad Pur, Keshopur & Okhala. On being apprehended it is very tough to interrogate them as they take excuse that they could not speak or understand any other language except Tamil.    
RECOVERIES:-
  1. 05 Android Mobile phones make Samsung, MI, Motorola & Intex.
  2. 01 Laptop make Apple.
  3. 03 Two wheelers used in commission of Crime.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-.
