GANG OF FAKE MARK SHEETS/DEGREES AND EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATE MAKERS ARRESTED

With the arrest of 04 accused persons namely Rupesh Kumar, Rithesh Kumar, Someer Kumar and Mukesh Thakur, the staff of P.S. Tilak Nagar/West District, has unearthed a racket indulging in selling fake degrees, certificates and diplomas for Rs 5000/- to 20,000/- per certificate.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:-
  1. Rupesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Parshad R/o. Near Sunil Dairy, Hastsal Road, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, Age-27 Years, Education- 12th.
  2. Rithesh Kumar S/o Sh. Shivendra Singh R/o. Village and Post Bhikanpur Gumti Nandoz, District, Bhagalpur, Bihar, Age-29 Years, Education-Graduate.
  3. Someer Kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Rai, R/o Rajinder Nagar, Rohatak, Haryana, Age- 36 Years, Education-Graduate.
  4. Mukesh Takhur S/o Sh Prem Kant Thakur R/o Devli, Delhi, Age 27 Yrs.   
RECOVERY :-
  1. Six hard copy/in original of fake mark sheets, certificate, migration certificate of different Universities.
  2. 01 laptop and scanner/printer.
  3. 05 android mobile phone.
  4. More than 200 copies of fake mark sheets.
INCIDENT:-
On 23.1.17, a person namely Shahbazul Haque (complainant) R/o Tilak Nagar, New Delhi made a complaint in PS Tilak Nagar alleging therein that he had contacted Mr. Rupesh Kumar for admission in class 10TH but instead of getting him admission in 10th class, Rupesh Kumar provided him Degree, Mark Sheet, Migration of 10th class of year 2003 having name and photographs of the complainant.  The complainant was assured by Mr. Rupesh that he could join the course and after completing the same a Xth pass certificate would be given. He paid Rs. 5000/- to Mr. Rupesh Kumar. The complainant was told that he need to pay an addition amount of Rs. 5000/-.

Mr. Rupesh sent him class Xth mark sheet through WhatsApp issued by Intermediate Schooling Council of Education (ICSE). Later the complainant found that the mark sheet given to him is fake. Immediately, on the statement of the complainant a case vide FIR No.68/17, Dated 06.02.17, U/s 420/467/468/471/34 IPC, was registered at PS Tilak Nagar, New Delhi and investigation was taken up.
TEAM, INVESTIGATION:-
Keeping in view the gravity of offence, immediately a team comprising SI Rajpal Singh IC PP Tilak Vihar, HC Ved Pal, HC Ved Pal, HC Satyavart, HC Baljeet, Ct Himmat led by Insp Shiv Kumar SHO/Tilak Nagar and under overall supervision of Sh. Aalap Patel, ACP/Tilak Nagar was constituted to act swiftly. Traps were laid and after making sustain efforts Rupesh Kumar was arrested on 7.2.17.

INTERROGATION:-
On sustained interrogation, he disclosed that the said degrees were provided to him by Ritesh Kumar. Further, he disclosed that his associates Someer, Rajesh Gupta, Mukesh Thakur and other are involved in this gang. Accused Rupesh was arrested by lying a trap at the instance of the complainant. He further led to the arrest of (1). Rithesh Kumar (2) Someer Kumar (3) Mukesh Takhur.

Accused Rupesh, Mukesh, Ritesh & others were running a Consultancy Agency and their role was to search for the customers who are in need of degrees/diploma etc. They used to obtain fake degrees from Someer Kumar & his associates through courier, e-mail and Whatsaap.  Accused Someer Kumar used to obtain Degrees from another person who is from Bhiwani. The other co-accused are still at large and raids are being conducted to nab them.
