GANG OF ACTIVE BURGLARS BUSTED

Five persons ( two thieves, one mediator, two goldsmiths) including gang leader Manish arrested.
  • Total about 10.5  tola  ornaments (one mangal sutra, two gold chains, one ear ring, two rings)  gold recovered.
  • One Lakh & 94 thousands cash recovered.
  • Three cases of P.S. Sultan Puri worked out.  
On 01.01.17, a burglary case u/s 380/457 IPC was registered at  P.S. Sultan Puri on the statement of complainant for commission of burglary  of jewellary items  and cash in his house. During the investigation, CCTV footage was scrutinized and one of the accused persons was identified as Manish. Raids were conducted at several places including Deoria , UP.

On 08.02.17, secret information was received and a team compromising SI Sharwan, ASI Rishikesh, Ct. Ashok 2782/OD, Ct. Prateek  2752/OD,Ct. Munesh 2830/OD and Ct Raj Pal was constituted, under the leadership of Inspr. Ashok Kumar-SHO/Sultan Puri and under overall supervision of Sh.Darade Sharad Bhaskar- ACP/Sultan Puri. Acting on a tip off, accused Manish was arrested. The accused was identified in CCTV footage of the incident. After interrogation, co-accused Wasim was also arrested.    



During the interrogation, both the accused persons revealed that the stolen jewellary items were sold to two goldsmiths namely Sanjeev Kumar R/o Nangloi, Delhi and  Hanumant R/o Nangloi, Delhi-through mediator- Nand Kishore R/o Nangloi, Delhi. Mediator- Nand Kishore and Goldsmith Sanjeev and  Hanumant were also arrested. With the arrest of said five persons total Appx. 10.5 tola Gold have been recovered from the accused persons which include one Mangal Sutra, 2 gold chains and one earring, two rings, some documents and bag burgled from the complainant’s house and Rupees one lakh and 94  thousands were also recovered from the possession of accused goldsmith Sanjeev and Hanumant .They got this money by selling stolen gold ornaments.  With their arrest three cases of P.S. Sultan Puri have been worked out.
Accused Arrested:-

  1. Manish (22 Yrs.) R/o Sultan Puri, Delhi. He is previously involved in four cases of robbery and burglary registered at PS Sultan Puri, Delhi.
  2. Wasim  (23 Yrs.) R/o Sultan Puri, Delhi. Co-accused in above case.
  3. Nand Kishore (40 Yrs.) R/o Nangloi, Delhi. Mediator between accused Manish, Wasim and Gold Smiths. He had taken Mangal Sutra, earring as his share.
  4. Sanjeev Kumar  (50 Yrs.) R/o Nangloi, Delhi. He received stolen Gold Jewellary and gave the gold to Hanumant (gold smith) for melting the stolen jewellary.
  5. Hanumant  (28 Yrs.) R/o Nangloi, Delhi. He is receiver of stolen property and also melted the stolen gold jewellary.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
