3 DRUG TRAFFICKERS OF TWO INTER-STATE MODULES ARRESTED IN TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS

  • 170 GM COCAINE AND 590 GM FINE QUALITY HEROIN RECOVERED.
  • VALUE OF RECOVERED CONTRABAND IS RS.2 CRORE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has busted two drug trafficking modules and arrested 3 drug traffickers in two separate incidents (i) Uchenne (28 yrs) s/o Mr. Okwercome r/o IMO State Orlu Njaba (PS) Loka Govt. Area, Nigeria, (ii) Ajay @ Kanpuria (33 yrs) s/o Late Genda Lal r/o H.No.24, Defence Enclave, Part-1, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and (iii) Naresh Kumar @ Ustad (39 yrs) s/o Darya Lal r/o H.No.139, Defence Enclave, Part-1, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and recovered 170 gm cocaine and 590 gm of fine quality heroin from their possession.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
  1. In the first incident, information was received by HC Rupesh Kumar that one Nigerian national, who is indulged in supply of cocaine and heroin in different parts of Delhi, would come near Dwarka Mor between 2 PM to 3 PM.
On this information, a team of officers of Narcotics Cell led by ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Inspr. Jai Bhagwan, SI Omvir Dabas, ASI Jagdish, HC Rupesh and other staff under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas swung into action and a trap was laid near taxi stand, Dwarka Mor, Delhi. On the tip off, one person Uchenne was apprehended and 330 gm of fine quality heroin and 170 gm of fine quality cocaine was recovered from his possession. The recovered contraband is worth Rs.1.5 crore (approximately) in international market. A case vide FIR No.16/2017 dated 09.02.2017 u/s-21/29 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch was registered in this regard.
  1. In the second incident, an information was received by SI Dinesh Kumar that two persons Ajay & Naresh Kumar, who are indulged in supply of heroin in Delhi, would come near TVS Bajaj Show Room, Mor road leading towards Vikas Nagar, Delhi.
On this information, a team of officers of Narcotics Cell led ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Inspr. Brij Pal Singh, SI Dinesh Kumar, ASIs Rajender, Mahesh, HC Satender Pal and other staff under the supervision DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall guidance Addl.CP K.K. Vyas swung into action and a trap was laid near TVS Bajaj Show Room, Mor road leading towards Vikas Nagar, Delhi.  On the tip off, two persons Ajay @ Kanpuria and Naresh Kumar @ Ustad were apprehended and 260 grams of fine quality heroin was recovered from the possession of accused Ajay. The recovered heroin is worth Rs.50 lac (approximately) in international market. A case vide FIR No.17/2017 dated 10.02.2017 u/s 21/29 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch was registered in this regard.
PROFILE:-

  1. Uchenne was born in Nigeria. He has five brothers and two sisters. He has studied upto secondary level. He came to India in Feb, 2015 on a business class visa but indulged in drug trafficking as after coming into contact with such elements of Punjab. Thereafter, he started drug trafficking and supplying the consignment in Delhi. This time also, he had come alongwith the consignment to supply it in Delhi but was caught.
  2. Ajay @ Kanpuria was born in Kanpur, UP and is an illiterate. He is married and has three children. He came to Delhi 15 years ago, for working as labourer but indulged in drug trafficking as he came in contact with some bed elements of Bareilly, UP. Thereafter, he alongwith Naresh Kumar started drug trafficking and supplying the consignment from Bareilly to Delhi. This time, they had come alongwith the consignment to supply it in Delhi but were caught.
  3. Naresh Kumar has studied upto 5th standard in Delhi. He has three brothers and two sisters. He stared working as labourer but indulged in drug trafficking as he came in contact with Ajay @ Kanpuria. He started drug trafficking and supplying the consignment in Delhi from Bareilly, UP. This time, they had come along with the consignment to supply it in Delhi but were caught.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
