3 FIRST TIMER THIEVES APPREHENDED

  • 125 BAGS (EACH CONTAINING 50 KG RICE) RECOVERED.
  • THE TATA-407 USED IN THE COMMISSION OF THE CRIME RECOVERED.
Crime Branch has apprehended 3 first timer thieves (i) Nadeem Malik (23 yrs) s/o Jarra Malik r/o H.No.12, G.No. 9.5th Pusta, Sonia Vihar, Delhi  (ii) Jitender  @ Jitu (23 yrs) s/o Kamlesh r/o IIaichi Pur ka Makan, Gali No. 9.5th Pusta, Sonia Vihar, Delhi (iii) Mukesh (40 yrs) s/o Siya Ram r/o H.No. 438, G.No.12, Mandoli Ext., Delhi alongwith 125 bags of rice stolen from  a godown  at Sabhapur Village, Sonia Vihar.
INCIDENT: -
On 02/02/17, a case was registered through Web Portal at PS Sonia Vihar whereby it was alleged that some unidentified persons had stolen around 200 bags of rice from the godown of Mr.Mukesh Aggarwal. The accused persons had broken open the locks of the godown to affect the theft. A case vide e-FIR No.000019/17, u/s 457/380 IPC, PS Sonia Vihar was registered in this regard.
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
On 12.02.2017, ASI Rakesh and HC Sudhir received an information that the accused persons, who are involved in the theft will be coming over to area of Khajuri Chowk to sell off the stolen goods. The information was shared with the senior officers and a team led by ACP Sandeep Lamba, consisting of Insp. Ashish kumar Dubey, SI Vineet, ASIs Ajeet, Ajay, Joginder, Jitender, Rakesh, Prabhu Dayal, HCs Sudhir, Shahir khan, Mool Chand, Praveen, Rajiv Tyagi, Cts Karnal, Praveen and Nishant was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab them.
Accordingly, the raiding party reached the area where the accused persons were supposed to come. On receiving signal from the informer, the police team swung into action and the accused persons were apprehended and 125 bags of stolen rice were also recovered.

  1. Nadeem Malik Was born in Vill. Mahant Pirela, PS Sohna, Distt. Basti (UP) in a poor family and because of his poor condition, he could not study beyond 2nd standard and shifted to Delhi. He is married and has one child out of his wedlock. He started working as a Kabbari. It was then that he met Jitender and Mukesh and indulged in burglary but was caught in his first attempt.
  2. Jitender @ Jitu was born in Vill. E- 256 Nala Road, Deen Dayal Nagar, Gwalior (MP) in a poor family and because of his poor condition he could not study beyond 5th standard   and shifted to Delhi in search of a job. He started working as driver with OLA & UBER cabs but after some time he lost his job. While he was in search of a job, he met Mukesh and Nadeem and indulged in burglary but was caught in his first attempt.
  3. Mukesh was born in Vill. Barahakhurd PS Kalan, Distt. Shahjahanpur (UP) in a poor family and because of his poor condition he could not study beyond 4th standard and shifted to Delhi in search of a job. He started working as a Tempo Driver and with the passage of time, he purchased his own Tempo on installments. But after some time, he was unable to pay installment of his Tempo. In the meanwhile, he met Nadeem and Jitender and indulged in burglary but was caught in his first attempt.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
