NAFE SINGH @ MANTRI, AN INTERSTATE CRIMINAL AND ASSOCIATE OF NOTORIOUS MANJIT MAHAL ARRESTED

• PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 9 CASES OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER, ROBBERY, ARMSACT ETC.

A team of Special Cell of Insp UmeshBarthwal, Insp Bhushan Azad and W/Insp Renu Yadav,has arrested a rewarded criminal of Nafe Singh @ Mantri s/o Late HariKishan r/o VPO Ghumman Hera, PS Chhawla New Delhi from near Keshopur Depot, PaschimVihar, Delhi. One pistol .32 borealongwith5 live cartridges have been recovered from his possession. He is hotly wanted in 3 cases of murder and previously involved in 9 cases in Delhi and Haryana.He was at large for the last two years.

During the last few years, gang wars have claimed several lives in Delhi, especially in the area of Najafgarh.  These gang wars, over a period of time, led to formation of new gangs, the active ones being Jyoti Baba and Kapil Nandu gang, Manjit Mahal gang, Naveen Khati gang, KrishanPehlwan gang and off late emergence of new gang namely Udaivir Kala (now deceased) now being led by Hemant. This bloody gang war took an ugly turn when the gang rivalryclaimed the lives of innocent family members especially ladies, old man and children.

Krishan Pehelwan and Udaiveer Kala (now deceased) had also an ugly killing history due to family enmity. KrishanPehelwan had killed father of Udaivir and also the father of Hemant. To avenge these killings,Udaivir got killed Bharat Singh, an Ex MLA and brother of gangster Krishan Pehelwan. After this shootout a new gangster, namely Vicky Jharodia emerged, who had executed the first attack upon Bharat Singh, whereas, subsequently Hemant executed the killing of Bharat Singh.

Manjit Mahal-Nafe Singh @ Mantri and Jyoti Baba-Kapil Nandu gang has a history of bloodbath from both sides.

One criminal Dinesh Dalal @ Gapchu r/o najafgarh was very close to Manjeet Mahal and becoming known in criminal circle. He had some tussle with another desperate criminal Vikas Lagarpuria.  Once Dinesh Dalal threatened the father of  Vikas Lagarpuria, that annoyed Vikas who alongwith his Dheer pal kanha eliminated Dinesh Gapchu. This infuriated Manjeet Mahal and he wanted avenged to killing of Dinesh Gapchu at any cost.

Nafe @ Mantri had many criminal cases registered against him and he was also closed to Manjeet Mahal.  Nafe @ Mantri owed some money to Surajbhan  @ Ballu r/o Deenpur Delhi.  Nafe suspected that Surajbhan was sending boys to the house of Nafe to recover money.  In the month of December 2015, Nafe @ Mantri along with Dharmender r/o Sikar pur Delhi was having drink with Manjit Mahal, Ashok r/o Mitraun and Pradeep Solanki of Nazafgarh in his village.   Nafe @ Mantri called Ballu to verify the information whether he had been sending boys to Nafe’s house.  During this conversation Sunil @ doctor also asked Nafe to visit them and introduced himself as the brother in law (Jija) of Vikas Lagarpuriya.  Manjit Mahal immediately to took this opportunity to avenge the killing of Dinesh Gapchu by Sunil @ Doctor.   Nafe @ Mantri, Dharmender, Manjit Mahal, Ashok and Pradeep Solanki all went to of Nazafgarh to the office of Surajbhan @ Ballu at Village Deenpur, Delhi.  There accused persons fired upon Sunil @ Doctor and killed him and the same was reported vide FIR No. 766/15 u/s 302/307/34 IPC & 27Arms Act at PS Chhawla, Delhi.

Within few hours, brother of gangster Jyoti namely Kapil @ Nandu and his associates attacked the house of Nafe Singh @ Mantri at Village Ghummanhera and shot indiscriminately at his father, a retired Delhi police officer, mother and wife. Nandu even wanted to kill the children but they were saved by his associates convincing him that the kids were not at fault and should be spared. Father of Mantri, Shri Hari Kishan died at the spot and the two women are battling for their lives (wife Sarmila & mother Kamla). FIR No.767/15 u/s 302/307/34 IPC & 27 Arms Actat PS Chhawla, Delhi was registered in this regard.

Again within span 20 days Kapil Nandu striked back and killed the brother and father of Dharmender as Dharmender was involed in the killing of Sunil @ Doctor.

In the mean while Nafe @ Mantri had got infamy. He suspected that Bijender r/o Najafgarh had informed Kapil @ Nandu and his gang about his family in Ghummahera. To avenge this Nafe @ Mantri alongwith his associates namely Ashok Pradhan, Pradeep Solanki, Tota, Bhinda & Sumit  killed  Bijender, Delhi in may 2016.  Such was gruesome attack that they pump around 54 bullets in to Bijender.

Again Nafe Singh @ Mantri suspected that one Vijay Lala village Jhuljhuli Delhi had been informing the rival gang about his movements.  He along with his associates namely Satish Kalu, Rakesh, Chhotu, Sandeep murdered Vijay @ Lala in Village Ghumanhera in month of Oct 2016.  

After the arrest of Manjit Mahal by special cell, this bloodbath continued when in the month of January 2017, Jyoti Baba & Kapil Nandu while lodged in Jail through their shooters eliminated the father of Manjit Mahal namely Srikrishan age 74 in broad day light.  

Immediately within few days jailed Manjit Mahal avenged the killing of his father by eliminating two members of Kapil Nandu gang namely Vikrant Gulia & Dinesh @ Mangu Pahalwan.   

This is basically a gang-war for supremacy in the area of Najafgarh and outer Delhi. When most of the gangleaders are lodged in jail, they are carrying their activities with impunity through their shooters. Alarmingly, these gangs are found to be using juveniles as executor of sensational murders.

Special Cell was keeping a tab over the activities of these gangs and have arrested several gang members in an effort to put an end to this gang war.

Operation

For last few months, information about Nafe @ Mantri r/o Ghumman Hera, Delhi, a notorious criminal wanted for several murder cases of Delhi was being developed. It was also learnt that he has been shifting his hideouts in Rajasthan, Haryana and in outer Delhi area. Accordingly raids were conducted to apprehend him. In the month of December, after the arrest of one of his associates namely ManjitMahal, it was revealed that Nafe @ Mantri had shifted to Morni hills, Panchkula, Haryana. Accordingly sources were deployed to develop the information.On 25.02.2017, one of the sourcesinMorni Hills gave a specific input that Nafe has left for Delhi. A part of the team already stationed in that areaalso rushed to Delhi.

On 25.02.2017, during late hoursacting upon a secret tip off trap was laidin the area of KhayalaNearKeshopur Depot.Around midnight, Nafe Singh @ Mantri r/o Ghummanhera, Delhiwas apprehended and a .32 bore pistol containing five live cartridges of .32 bore were recovered.

INTERROGATION &PROFILE:-

During investigation, the accused disclosed that since his school time, he has been hot minded and had quarrel with many students and involved into some hurt cases and attempt to Murder cases. In the year 2002-03,he got into cable business during which he came in contact with notorious gangsterManjeetMahal, who used to meet him in one of the cable offices. In the year 2015, when ManjeetMahal, PradeepSolanki, Ashok were wanted by police, they also used to visit his office in VillGhumanhera, Delhi, for hideout and money. During this time, they killed one Sunil @ Doctor and committed two other murders owing to gang rivalry.  

Accused Nafe @ Mantri is wanted in below mentioned cases-

1. FIR No. 766/15 u/s 302/307/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act at PS Chhawla, Delhi-

In this incident, present accused Nafe Singh @ Mantri  and his associates committed murder of one Sunil @ Doctor, brother-in-law of notorious gangsters Jyoti and Kapil @ Nandu. This incident took place at the office of Surajbhan @ Ballu at Village Deenpur, Delhi. A reward of Rs. 100000/- has been declared by Worthy Commission of Police, Delhi on the arrest of accused Nafe Singh @ Mantri

2. Case FIR No. 381/16, U/S 302/34 IPC, PS Chhawla, Delhi-  

In this incident Nafe Singh @ Mantri along with his associates murdered Vijay @ Lala and Bijender @ Leela associates of Kapil @ Nandu as he suspected Lalato have been informing the rival gang about his movements.

3. Case FIR No. 83/16, U/S 302/34 IPC, PS JaffarPurKalan, Delhi.

He alongwith his associates killed one Bijender r/o Najafgarh, Delhi. He suspected that Bijender had informed Kapil @ Nandu and his gang about his family in Ghummahera. Case was registered on the complaint of Virender, brother of deceased Bijender. Ealier, Kapil @ Nandu, through his gang members had attackedNafe’s family, wherein the father of Nafe @ Mantri namely HariKishan, a retired Delhi Police officer was killed while leaving his wife Sharmila and mother Kamla seriously injured.
