GRUESOME MURDER MYSTERY OF PARTIALLY BURNT UNIDENTIFIED DEAD BODY SOLVED WITHIN 6 HOURS

Seelampur police succeeded in arresting three members of Nadeem gang involved in gruesome murder of Athar Abbas. (1) Shareef @ Pravej S/o Mohd Zahur R/o Gautampuri Delhi aged 29 years (2) Khalid S/o Rafiq R/o Jafrabad Delhi aged 41 years (3) Sobi Khan @ Raja S/o Barkat Ali R/o North Ghonda Delhi aged 20 years. Master mind of this murder case namely Nadeem and Gulfam are still absconding.
INCIDENT
On the intervening night of 4/5-10-2017 at about 01:00 AM two scooty riders were seen carrying a heavy plastic bag at Brahmpuri Road . During patrolling SI Dinesh Kumar along with HC Ashok sensed trouble and tried to stop them , the bag fell from their scooty but scooty turned towards Gautampuri. Police team tried to chase them but they disappeared. Fortunately, SI Dinesh Kumar was able to note down the Registration No of the scooty. In the mean time police team noticed that the same heavy bag was lying on the road side near Brahmpuri Nallah. When police team checked the bag they found an unknown dead body of a male wrapped in the plastic / gunny bag. Dead body was partially burnt, both legs were tied together with a cord, worn clothes were half burnt. Efforts were made to identify the deceased but of no avail. Hence, a case vide FIR No 612/17 u/s 302/201 IPC was registered at PS Seelampur and investigation taken up.
TEAM
A team consisting  of Insp. Ram Avtar SHO/Seelampur, SI Manoj Tomar, SI Ravinder Singh, SI Naveen , SI Dinesh kumar, SI Sahid Ali, HC Layak Ali, HC Anil Kumar, HC Ashok under the close supervision of Sh. Shashank Jaiswal, IPS ACP/Seelampur and under the leadership of Sh. R.P. Meena Addl. DCP/North East, District.  
INVESTIGATION
On the basis of Registraiton  number of scooty, ownership of the vehicle used in the commission of crime obtained which was found in the name of Mohd. Khalid, who is the  elder brother of Nadeem, the master mind of the case. During investigation it was revealed that construction work is going on at the sites of Nadeem. One of the site situated in Jafrabad was checked. At the first floor blood stains and burn material was found on the spot. It was also revealed that one Sharif @ Pravej R/o Gautampuri and Sobi Khan @ Raja also associate of Nadeem worked for Nadeem. In the mean time relatives of deceased also reached Jafrabad in search of deceased. They identified the body of deceased in Morturary as Athar Abbas S/o Akhtar Abbas R/o New Mustafabad. Deceased also dealt in properties. Nadeem took Rs 5,00,000/- (Five lacs) from Athar Abbas and did not return. He was demanding his money regularly from Nadeem. On this issue hot arguments took place between Nadeem and Athar Abbas. Nadeem with his associates conspired to eliminate Athar Abbas. On 04.10.2017, they called him from his residence and consumed liquor at the site in Jafrabad. When Athar Abbas became partially unconcious Nadeem hit his head with a Bullet from Point Blank Range and then poured melted material of plastic chair on the head of deceased to control the bleeding. They also tried to burn off the body to conceal the identity. Thereafter, all of them removed the body from the spot. Gulfam and Sharif @ Pravej took away the dead body on the scooty provided by Mohd Khalid and others. Khalid helped in the whole process.  Body was kept in a gunny bag and thereafter wrapped in a plastic bag which was tied by a jute cord and then removed from the spot with the help of their associates. All the accused arrested confessed their guilt. Accused Nadeem and Gulfam and others are absconding.
PROFILE
(1) Shareef @ Pravej. He is associate of Nadeem, but has no previous involvement. He works at the office of Nadeem in Jafrabad and facilitate him in his illegal business of properties. He is married but has no issue. He studied upto 7 class.
(2) Sobi Khan @ Raja. He also works with Nadeem and used to look after the personal work as well as facilitate in his illegal business of properties.
(3) Mohd Khalid. He is elder brother of Nadeem and facilitate his brother  Nadeem in his illegal business of properties. He is married.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
