 Team of Special Staff/West District has arrested active Snatcher Shudhanshu @ Himanshu @ Bengali s/o Krishan Mohan  r/o D-1/25 Mansha Ram Park, PS Bindra Pur, Delhi Age 25 Yrs. Four cases of Robbery/ Snatching have been worked out. Three Mobile Phones & one motor cycle Platina Bajaj No DL 6S AR 0205 have been recovered. He is previously involved in 13 case of Robbery, Snatching & Arms Act etc.

  1. FIR No 544/16 dated 16/06/2016 U/s 328/379/34 IPC PS Uttam Nagar Delhi
  2. FIR No 650/16, Dt 16.08.2016, u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Uttam Nagar Delhi.
  3. FIR No 482/16, Dt 07.07.2016, u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Hari Nagar Delhi.
  4. FIR No 355/16, Dt 13.05.2016, u/s 392/323/34 IPC, PS Ranhola Delhi.
  
DETAILS OF TEAM
On the basis of secret information of ASI Virender Singh, a team of Special Staff comprising of SI Charan Singh, ASI Virender Singh, HC Shashi Kant, Ct Satnarayan, Ct Vikrant & W/Ct Divya, headed by Insp Surender Singh Rathee, under close supervision of Sh. Dinesh Tiwari-ACP/ Operation Cell West District, apprehended the above person from Vikas Puri area.

     On sustained interrogation he revealed that he has studied upto 5th Std. He fell in bad company & started consuming drugs. For easy earning for meeting the demands of drugs & others expenses, he started committing snatching with his associates. Their soft targets were ladies & aged persons. Efforts are being made to trace his associates. Further investigation is underway. The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

A CHRONIC CHEAT AND PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN MORE THAN 13 CASES ARRESTED

The PO Staff of PS Rani Bagh, North West District has arrested one Brij Bhushan Sharma S/O Shri Ghan Shyam Sharma R/O 776/14, Sec-14, Faridabad, Haryana, a chronic cheat and a proclaimed offender (PO) in more than 13 cases on 15.12.2015. The issue of arrest/tracing of POs has always remained top priority of policing. A dedicated team is formed in each police station and is assigned the task of apprehending POs declared by various courts of law.  The progress made is also periodically discussed and monitored by Courts and senior officers in meetings.  DCP/NW had also directed staff to pay special attention to tracing of POs.  As a result the staff of North West District has arrested 176 POs during the current year.   The team consisting of HC Rajesh Rana, No.192/NW, Ct Pawan, No.1398/NW and Ct.
