THREE CRIMINALS OF GAURAV JHARERA & LAGAN SHARMA GANG INVOLVED IN THREE HENIOUS CASES ARRESTED

THREE SOPHISTICATED PISTOLS AND 12 LIVE CARTRIGES RECOVERED

         A team of Special Cell/SWR led by Insp. Tilak Chand Bisht and Insp. Rajesh Kumar under the supervision of Sh Akhileshwar Swroop Yadav, ACP has arrested three notorious and desperate criminals of Gaurav Jharera & Lagan Sharma gang namely 1) Yogesh @ Sonu (aged 30 years ) s/o Satbir Singh r/o A-53 Sainik Enclave, Part-II, Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi, 2). Parveen Kumar (aged 25 yrs)  s/o Ram Avtar r/o RZ 429 B Gali No. 11, Kailash Puri, Palam Colony Delhi & 3) Praveen Kumar (aged 33 yrs)  s/o Sushil Kumar r/o C-11, Kunj Vihar Society, Sector 12 Dwarka  Delhi. Three sophisticated Pistols of 7.65 bore and 12 live cartridges have been recovered. Three cases including one case of murder, one case of attempt to murder have been worked out.

OPERATION  & APPREHENSION

On 10-08-2017, information was received by Inspr Tilak Chand Bisht that two notorious criminals of Gaurav Jharera & Lagan Sharma gang namely Yogesh @ Sonu & Parveen Kumar, involved in some heinous cases, are hiding at different hideouts. It was informed that they will travel through golf course road in Dwarka on a scooty having registration number DL-4SCD-7762. Accordingly, a team led by Inspr. Tilak Chand Bisht consisting of Inspr. Rajesh Kumar, SI Manender, SI Gautam Malik, ASI Dilbag, HC Mukesh, Ct. Ombir, Ct. Hariom, Ct. Harender, Ct. Atul, Ct. Abhishek, Ct. Sonu Sharma laid a trap on the road. At about 05.15 PM, Yogesh @ Sonu &  Praveen Kumar were spotted on scooty no. DL-4SCD-7762. They were apprehended. 2 pistols alongwith 7 live cartridges were recovered from their possession. A case under the Arms Act, PS Special Cell, Delhi has been registered.

On the disclosure of Yogesh and Parveen one of their other associate Praveen Kumar @ Radhey s/o Sushil Kumar r/o H.No. C-11, Kunj Vihar Society, Sector-12, Dwarka, Delhi was also arrested from Pocket C-5, Janak Puri, Delhi while he was travelling in Creta car No. DL-2CAX-2100. From his possession one pistol of 7.65 bore with 5 live cartridges were recovered.

Accordingly, a case under Arms Act was registered at P.S. Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi.

INTERROGATION

All the accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation wherein they disclosed that accused Yogesh @ Sonu was member of Anand @ Anna & Lagan Sharma gang and also involved in the murder of Sajjan (brother of notorious gangster Shakti @ Sharda). Accused Parveen Kumar is a active member of notorious gangster Gaurav Jharera gang. Accused Praveen @ Radhey has been helping them financially and providing logistics support. From the interrogation of the accused persons, it has come to light that some members of Lagan Sharma gang and Gaurav Jharera gang have joined hands. This new gang wants to increase their dominance in Delhi and was planning to commit further crimes. It has also been revealed that Gaurav Jharera, who is lodged in Mandoli Jail was injured in an attack by rival criminals in the jail in June, 2017. After the attack Gaurav directed his gang members to attack the family members of the criminals involved in the attack. As per the directions of Gaurav Jharera accused Parveen Kumar with his associates attacked the house of one Javed r/o Jwala Puri, Camp No. 4, Mianwali Nagar, Delhi. Parveen Kumar is also involved in an attempt to Murder case of PS Sagar Pur.

List of cases worked out by the arrest of accused:

1. FIR No. 523/17, U/S 302/201 IPC & 25 A. Act, PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

On 02/08/2017 at time about 7:45 PM, when Yogesh @ Sonu along with his other associates were sitting in the office of Jay Properties in Budh Bazaar Road, Uttam Nagar,  Dheeraj r/o Uttam Nagar, entered the office with one loaded pistol. Yogesh @ Sonu tried to dispossess Dheeraj of the loaded pistol, a shot was fired from the pistol hit Dheeraj and he died.

2. FIR No. 197/17, U/S 307/341/34 IPC & 25 A. Act, PS Sagar Pur, Delhi.

That during intervening night of 05-06/07/2017, Parveen Kumar Sharma along with his associates Deepak @ Babloo, Amir, Vinay and others waylaid Amit r/o Gandh Market, Sagarpur. They accused him of throwing brick in the house of Chhabbo in Sagarpur, Delhi started beating him, when Amit’s father tried to intervene, they also thrashed his father. Parveen fired at Amit, but Amit and his father managed to escape. A case was attempt to murder was registered at PS Sagar Pur.

3. FIR NO. 299/17, U/S 336 IPC, PS Mianwali Nagar, Delhi.

That on intervening night of 29-30/06/2017 accused Parveen Kumar Sharma along with his three other associates Karim, Ankit @ Badi fired in the air near the house of one Javed in the area of Camp no.4, Jwalapuri, Delhi. Javed along with others was involved in fight with Gaurav Jharera, who was also lodged in Mandoli Jail. One empty case cartridge of 7.65 was recovered from the spot.

Profile of  Yogesh @ Sonu

Accused Yogesh @ Sonu was born in 1987 in Delhi. He is a school dropout. He learnt work of electrician and also ran a shop in Uttam Nagar. His family was living in the locality of Kailash Puri. In 2007, his family shifted to new house at Prem Nagar, Najafgarh Delhi where he fell in the company of budding criminals like Anand @ Anna, Lagan Sharma, Som Pehalwan etc.  In 2012, he along with his associates Paramjeet @ Parma, Somdutt, Lagan Sharma and other committed a dacoity in Rewari, Haryana and looted a truck loaded with washing soap vide FIR No. 15/2012, u/s 395 IPC, PS Rewari Sadar, Haryana. He was arrested in this case and remained in jail for about two months. In October 2013, he alongwith his associate was involved in an attempt to murder case of PS Ranhola over property dispute vide FIR No. 401/2013, u/s 307 IPC, 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Ranhola, Delhi. In February 2014, he alongwith associates Anand @ Anna, Lagan Sharma, Somdutt and others kidnapped and killed Sajjan r/o Najafgarh, who was brother of notorious gangster Shakti @ Sharda. A case  vide FIR No. 59/2014, u/s 365/302/201/34 IPC, PS BHD Nagar, Delhi was registered. In October 2014, he was arrested and remained in jail for about nine months. About few months back he came in touch with Praveen @ Radhey and Parveen Kumar. Parveen Radhey is a property dealer cum financer having office in Mohan Garden, Delhi. He has disputes with many persons hence he joined hands with local criminals.

Profile of  Parveen Kumar

Accused Parveen Kumar was born on 08-02-1991. He completed his graduation in 2012 and after that he started working in private company of Mobile Tower maintenance.  He also started his firm in mobile tower maintenance and ran his business from his home. In 2014, he came in contact with notorious criminal Gaurav Kohli r/o Village Jharera, Delhi Cantt. Delhi. Gaurav Kohli was a desperate criminal of South West Delhi and his dominance was in many parts of Delhi Cantt., Sagarpur etc. Parveen Kumar was overawed with the lifestyle of Gaurav Kohli and in order to earn quick money he joined his gang. In September, 2014, Gaurav Kohli,  Parveen Kumar and other associates reached a gym, on Pankha Road, and fired at the gym owner and a case vide FIR No. 998/14 u/s 307/34 IPC & 25 Arms  Act, PS Hari Nagar, Delhi was registered. They were arrested in this case. He remained in jail for about two months in this case. He is in continuous touch with Gaurav Jharera gang and working for them. He visited to jail to meet Gaurav Jharera who is incarcerated since last 2-3 years.

Profile of  Parveen @ Radhey

Accused Parveen Kumar was born on 21-07-1984 at his village Hasangarh, Sanpla, Rohtak, Haryana. He completed his schooling in 2003 from Sonepat, Haryana and completed graduation in 2006 from Rohtak University after that he completed his MBA in 2009 from a private collage of Delhi. In 2006, his family shifted to Som Bazar, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He worked in a private company in Gurugram, Haryana for about two years. In 2012, he left his job and started construction business in Mohan Garden Uttam Nagar. He is also running a Hubble-bubble ( Hookha) Bar at PVR Vikas Puri since last 5-6 months. He developed dispute in property business and developed enmity with some rivals. Due to this enmity in April 2014, he was arrested in attempt to murder case of PS Uttam Nagar with his other family members vide FIR No. 421/2014 u/s 307/34 IPC & 25 Arms  Act, PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi. After that he started making contact with local criminals to make his dominance in the area and befriended many criminals including Yogesh @ Sonu, Lagan Sharma, Parveen Kumar etc. On 17-06-2017, his younger brother Vipin sustained injuries in a quarrel in Som Bazar road, Uttam Nagar. Both the parties settled their dispute at Police Station and police action u/s 107/150 CrPC was initiated.  At that time Praveen @ Radhey was in China for business and when he came back he came to know about this incident and he wanted to teach lesson to the persons involved in quarrel with his brother. Thus he arranged the recovered weapons and also directed his associates to execute a plan to teach a lesson to the persons involved in quarrel with his brother.
