SOURED LOVE MARRIAGE LEADS TO MURDER OF BROTHER BY HUSBAND, MURDER SOLVED WITHIN 5 HOURS

With the arrest of the accused person namely Lalit R/o Gali No. 20-A, Bhajanpura, Delhi aged 27 years, Police team of PS Bhajanpura has solved the kidnapping-cum-murder case within 5 hours and Dead body of kidnapped boy and weapon of offence (Cloth patti) have been recovered.


INCIDENT
On 13-08-2017 at about 8:16 PM, a PCR call was received in PS Bhajanpura. The caller (father of kidnapped boy) R/o Gangotri Vihar West Ghonda Delhi informed that his son went in MATKI PHOD PROGRAMME and he was not traceable. Further, he stated that his son aged 11 years was missing since 3 PM and raised suspicion upon his son-in-law namely Lalit. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 480/17 dt. 16.8.17 u/s 363 IPC was registered at PS Bhajanpura, Delhi.
TEAM
A team consisting of ACP (Under Trng.) Prakshay Singh, Inspr. Vipin Kumar Sharma, SHO New Usmanpur, SI Prem Pal, SI Sachin, SI Naresh, ASI Harkesh, HC Kuldeep Ct. Narender, Ct. Pratap under the leadership of Inspr. Krishan Kumar, SHO/Bhajanpura and close supervision of Sh. Sachin Sharma, ACP/Gokalpuri was formed.
INTERROGATION
On interrogation of suspect Lalit, he told that he duped the victim on pretext of buying kites for him, kidnapped him and left the victim in Jungles of Alipur. Two teams were constituted to search the Jungle area, the teams went to the scene of crime in the night, along with the Accused person, and even after painstaking search operation of four hours, the body of 11yr old victim could not be traced, as the accused tried to misguide the Police personnel. Later, on sustained interrogation, alleged Lalit broke down and stated that he has murdered the kidnapped boy and on his instance the body of 11 yr old victim was recovered from the bushes of the service road, B-2/4 Narela Industrial area, Delhi.


INVESTIGATION
During the sustained investigation, it has been revealed that there was a dispute between the alleged Lalit and his wife. His father-in-law was not happy with them due to their love marriage. His wife left him and at present, she is living with her parents and the matter is already pending in Mediation Court. To take revenge from his in-laws, he murdered his brother-in-law.
RECOVERY
  • Dead body of kidnapped boy and Murder weapon (Cloth patti) recovered.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
