INTER STATE MODULE OF ARMS SUPPLY BUSTED

  • HEAVY QUANTITY OF ILLEGAL ARMS I.E 20 SEMI AUTOMATIC PISTOLS OF DIFFERENT CALIBRE RECOVERED
  • ONE ARM SUPPLIER ARRESTED
A team of Crime Branch has busted an interstate gang involved in supplying illegal arms and ammunition of different caliber from Madhya Pradesh in Delhi/NCR.  One person has been arrested and from his possession 20 semi-automatic pistols of different caliber have been recovered. The recovered weapons were manufactured with high proficiency skills and hardly anyone could detect the imitation. This gang was operating since last many years and is supplying illegal weapons to various gangsters/criminals of Delhi/NCR.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION:-
During recent past, several incidents of firing took place in Delhi/NCR, in which illegal weapons were used by the criminals/gangsters.  During analysis of these cases, it surfaced that the illegal fire arms being used in such type of incidents are being smuggled from Madhya Pradesh by several gangs.  To apprehend the criminals and to unearth the whole nexus, a dedicated team of ISC, Crime Branch was put on the task to collect the details about these criminals. It was revealed that a gang involving Bacchu, Fauji and their associates is actively involved in smuggling the illegal arms. A careful study regarding the Modus Operandi of this gang was carried out and a close watch as well as surveillance was mounted over the suspected persons.  
On 11/08/2017, specific information was received that one arm supplier would come near Bhairon Marg to deliver the consignment of illegal weapons to a local conduit of a gangster. Accordingly, a team led by Insp. Sunil Kumar, and comprising of SIsNeeraj Kumar, Radhey Shyam, ASIs Rakesh Kumar, Vaseek Ahmed, Vijay Pratap, HCs, Udai Ram, Sunil Pandey, Pawan Kumar, Salimudin, CtsSikander, Rahul and  Shubhash under the close supervision ofACP Sh Sanjay Sehrawat was constituted and a trap was laid. At about 9 PM, one person who was later identified as Ugara Singh (aged 39 years) S/o Sh. Chaggan R/o Vill-Panwa, Tehsil- Gandhawani, District- Dhar, Madhya Pradesh was apprehended near Udyan Nursery, LokNirmanVibhag, Bhairon Road, Delhi and from his possession 20 semi automatic pistols were recovered. A case under the appropriate section of law has been registered at PS-Crime Branch.
INTERROGATION :-
He was subjected to intensive interrogation, it was revealed that a gang headed by Bacchu Singh was involved in this illegal trade of weapon since last many years and is supplying sophisticated weapons to various persons including the gangsters of the region. He joined Bacchu Singh about two years back in this illegal trade. Gang involved used to take the whole amount as advance before the delivery of the consignment of illegal weapons. Various gangsters and criminals of Delhi and NCR were in touch with this gang for fulfilling their demands of sophisticated weapons. Further, to escape the police dragnet the gang members would take due precautions while communicating over mobile phones and would use pre decided code words for deciding place for delivering the weapons such as Taj Mahal for Sarai Kale khan,Lal Quilla for Bhairon Mandir etc. Efforts are being made to identify them.
Member of the gang would collect the consignment of illegal weapon from their sources in Madhya Pradesh. The description and the rates of the weapon purchased/supplied by these gang are given below:
  1. .32 pistol purchased @ Rs. 15 to 20,000/- and sold @ Rs. 25,000/-
  2. 9 MM pistol purchased @ Rs. 15 to 20,000/- and sold @ Rs. 30,000/-
  3. .30 pistol purchased @ Rs. 25-30,000/- and sold @ Rs.35,000/
PROFILE
  1. Ugara Singh (aged 39yrs)s/o Sh. Chaggan r/o Vill- Panwa, Tehsil- Gandhawani, District- Dhar, Madhya Prades his illiterate. He is indulged in supplying illegal arms for more than last two years.

Police is on the trail of other accomplices and more recoveries and arrest may take place as further investigation is being done.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
