INTERSTATE RACKET INVOLVED IN SUPPLYING OF OPIUM (AFEEM), BUSTED.

  • ONE PERSON WITH FINE QUALITY OPIUM WEIGHING 3.100 KG, WORTH RS. 15  LAKH RECOVERED
INTRODUCTION:-
            The team of Special Investigation Unit, Crime Branch, Old PS Kotwali Building Darya Ganj has arrested one persons namely Guddu Khan R/o Village Basai, Kasba Gundarwala Ganj, Near Purani Maszid, PO Mohan Pur PS Saber Distt Kasganj UP   (AGE 25 Years) and recovered 3.100 Kg. fine quality opium from his possession.  
INFORMATION, OPERATION  AND ARREST:-
           On dated 17/12/2017 an information was received by SI Vineet Kumar that one person namely Guddu involved in the supply of Opium (Afeem) will come to supply the same at Near Vijay Ghat Bus Stand, Ring Road Delhi. This information was further developed. Both technical and human surveillance was mounted on the movement of the suspect. On confirmation of the information received the same shared with the Inspr Ashish Kumar and senior officers.
A team of officers of Special Investigation Unit, Crime Branch under the  supervision of Shri Sandeep Lamba ACP/SIU, Crime, comprising of Inspr. Ashish Kumar, SI Vineet Kumar, SI Sumeet, ASI Ajeet Singh, ASI Ajay Kumar, , HC Praveen Kumar, HC Mool Chand, HC Rajiv Kumar HC Sudhir, HC Vipin, HC Nishant & Ct. Karnal Yadav, was formed to nab the alleged.
A trap was laid at the place of information and at the pointing pout of the informer one person later identified as Guddu Khan was apprehended. During cursory search, 3.100 kg fine quality Opium worth Rs. 15 lakhs (approx) in international market was recovered from his possession.   A Case vide FIR No.  222 /17, dated 17.12.2017, u/s 18 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi was registered in this regard. The accused was then subjected to sustained interrogation who revealed that he procured the opium from Kasganj UP.  A team has been deployed to trace out the whereabouts of the supplier.

PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED
Accused Guddu Khan was born at village Basai, Kasba Gundrwala Ganj, Distt. kasganj UP in the year 1992. His father Nashir Khan, a farmer, was very poor and apart from Guddu Khan had five more children (three sons and two daughters).  Owing to the poor stage of the family and growing age of the father, Guddu Khan started working in a bread manufacturing unit at Kasganj at a very young age.  Not satisfied with the income he used to generate.  Guddu Khan started supplying Opium in bulk after procuring it from a supplier Guddu in Kasganj UP in and around Delhi to earn Quick money.  But his stint was cut short after he was apprehended.
A case under the appropriate section of the law has been registered and is being investigated.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
