ONE DRUG PEDDLER (Nigerian National) ARRESTED WITH 37 GRAMS HIGH QUALITY HEROIN, a NARCOTIC SUBSTANCE.
North District has arrested one Drug Peddler namely Nwosu Theophilus Ndubuisi @ Prince Destiny R/o Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi permanent address Oweri Imo State, Nigeria, age 33 years and recovered 37 grams high quality heroin from his possession in the area of Khyber pass, near Majnu Ka Tilla,  Civil Lines, Delhi.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 09/11/18 at 07.55 PM,  SI Robin Singh posted at PS Civil Lines received a secret  information through an informer who that a Nigerian national  namely Nwosu Theophilus Ndubuisi who has been involved in supply of narcotic substance may likely to visit Majnu Ka Tilla, Civil lines to  deliver narcotic substance to one contact around around 09.00 PM. The said information was passed to SHO/ACP Civil lines & on the direction of Senior officers, a raiding party comprising of SI Robin Singh, No. D/4988,  SI Manish Kumar, No. D/722 and Const. Ajit, No. 2940/N was constituted under overall supervision of SHO civil lines. The police team apprehended one suspicious person carrying a pink colour carry bag. After enquiry, the accused Nwosu Theophilus Ndubuisi @ Prince Destiny S/o Late Sh. Paul Nwosu was apprehended and on his search 37 gms of high quality heroin (smack) was recovered from his possession. During sustained interrogation, it revealed that he came to India in May 2014 on Medical Visa valid for six months. His visa validity has been found expired and he was residing in India without valid documents. The local conduit, source of consignment as well as delivery etc. are being verified after sustained interrogation. The Nigerian Embassy & FRRO have been informed about the arrest of accused Nwosu Theophilus Ndubuisi @ Prince Destiny.
INTERROGATION
Accused is a Nigerian national  namely Nwsu Theophilus Ndubuisi @ Prince Destiny R/o Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, Delhi permanent address  Oweri Imo State, Nigeria, age 33. He came to India in May 2014 on Medical Visa valid for six Months. Thereafter he could not get it extended. His father has expired. His  Mother Elike is a house wife residing in Nigeria. He has one elder brother who is also residing in Nigeria. He has been involved in supply of Narcotics under the guise of garment business.
RECOVERY
37 grams high quality (Heroin)

Further investigation is in progress.
