OTHER MEMBER OF THE GANG NAMELY SIKANDER HAS ALREADY BEEN ARRESTED IN AUGUST 2018 UNDER NDPS ACT, IN A SEPERATE CASE.
INTRODUCTION: With the arrest of Dharmender in a case registered under NDPS Act at PS Crime Branch, the Narcotics Cell, has busted a gang of Drug peddlers active in West District and has recovered high quality Heroin. The gang includes his brother Sikander and his relatives, who were supplying heroin and playing with the life of people. One younger brother of Dharmender namely Sikander and Ankit (brother in law (sadu) of Sikander) were arrested by the team of Inspr. Sanjay Neolia in August 2018 and 500 grams fine quality of Heroin was also recovered from their possession. The name & particulars of the apprehended person is as under:
Dharmender r/o J.J. Colony, Hastsal, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Age 42 years.
INFORMATION & TEAM
In August 2018, Sikander and his relative/associate Ankit Kumar were arrested by the Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch with 500 grams of Heroin. During interrogation from accused persons, it was revealed that Dharmender is actively indulged in supplying heroin in Uttam Nagar area. Local intelligence was collected informers were mobilised and it was learnt that Dharmender was involved in suspicious activities. The matter was taken up seriously. Inspr. Sanjay Neolia and his team took up the responsibility who were assigned the task to develop the information and act accordingly. The team immediately came in to action and deployed secret informers for developing the information.
On 15/11/18, specific input regarding movement of Dharmender was received from secret informer. Accordingly a team under supervision of ACP R. K. Ojha, led by Inspr. Sanjay Neolia comprising of SIs Vishan Kumar, Jai Prakash, Vinod, Chander Prakash, ASI Abdul Hakim, HCs Manoj, Yogender, Nihal, Cts Ankush, Sunny and Rohit was constituted under overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh.
INCIDENT & OPERATION:
On 15/11/18, secret information was received by SI Vishan that Dharmender r/o Uttam Nagar would be coming at Road No. 236, leading from Uttam Nagar to Vikas Puri, Delhi between 05:30 PM to 06:00 for supplying heroin to someone. A trap was laid at road No.236, leading from Uttam Nagar to Vikas Puri, Delhi. At the instance of secret informer, Dharmender was apprehended who was found in possession of 510 grams of heroin. A case vide FIR No. 290/18, dated 15/11/18, u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at P.S. Crime Branch in this regard and Dharmender was arrested.
PROFILE OF ARRESTED PERSON, Dharmender was born in Uttam Nagar, Delhi in Year 1976. His father, Mahipal Singh, a BC and mother, Krishna was indulged in supplying illicit liquor. He had studied up to class 10th from Government School No. 3, at Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He stopped his studies after failing in class 10th in 1992. After marriage he started assisting his parents in supplying illicit liquor and running satta/betting racket. He was arrested by the Police of Uttam Nagar on several occasions under Excise Act and Gambling Act and was declared Bad Character of P.S. Uttam Nagar, Delhi. He stepped in the business of drugs,he contacted Deepak r/o Sultan Puri, who was already indulged in supplying heroin. He started procuring heroin from Deepak and selling it further to his parties in Delhi. His younger brother Sikander was recently arrested by Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch, under NDPS Act. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
