TWO DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF NARCOTICS SQUAD, CENTRAL DISTRICT : 45 GMS. HEROINE RECOVERED
With the arrest of 1) Bhure Singh @ Lamboo aged 34 years r/o Jawala Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi and 2) Sikander @ Sonu, aged 36 years r/o Jawala Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi, the staff of Narcotics Squad, Central District has busted a gang involved in illegal smuggling of narcotics drugs in Delhi. 45 gms. Heroine has been recovered from their possession.
INFORMATION, TEAM & INVESTIGATION:
       On 17.07.18, a secret information was received by SI Amrish Giri of Narcotics Squad, Central Distt. that one person involved in Drug trafficking would come in Auto/ TSR near Bhavbhuti Road Mod, Opp. New Delhi Railway Station, Tagore Road, Ajmere Gate, Delhi, to supply the Narcotics Drugs/substances. On receipt of this information, a team led by Inspr. Lalit Kumar, I/C Narcotics Squad, Central Distt. consisting of SI Amrish Giri, SI Surender, HC Satbir, Ct. Ajay and Ct. Ashok was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Naresh Kumar, ACP/ OPS/ Central Distt.

As per the information, procedural law was adopted and a trap was immediately trailed by the police team near Bhavbhuti Road Mod, Opp. New Delhi Railway Station, Tagore Road, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi in plain clothes. At the instance of secret informer, the targeted auto/ TSR was noticed coming from Ajmeri Gate and going towards Tagore Road. The Auto driver parked his auto at Tagore Road and started waiting for someone. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, the alleged driver started his auto. On this, the team immediately overpowered the driver. The procedural law of the special Act was further adopted and on his cursory search one transparent polythene, containing Narcotics drug was recovered. On verification, the drug was learnt to be Heroine and weighed about 45 gms. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 203/18 u/s 21,25 NDPS Act was registered at PS Kamla Market and the accused was arrested.
 
INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION
On interrogation, the driver revealed his identity as Bhure Singh @ Lamboo aged 34 years r/o Jawala Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi. He was subjected to sustained interrogation in which he disclosed that he is an auto driver by profession and residing in a rented house mentioned above. He also informed that he used to borrow money on interest from one Sikander @ Sonu who also resides in his neighbourhood. After sometime, the alleged Sikander @ Sonu offered him that he would give him money but he has to deliver the consignment of drugs at the address informed by him. In order to fulfill his financial requirements, he started supplying drugs in his auto.  
As per disclosure statement of accused Bhure Singh @ Lamboo accused Sikander @ Sonu was also arrested and section 29 NDPS Act was added in the present case. On interrogation, accused Sikander disclosed that he has bought this heroine from an unknown person at Karkardooma Red Light some days before.

PROFILE

  1. Accused Bhure Singh @ Lamboo was born in Itawah, UP. He has studied upto 10th standard. He came in Delhi for employment. He started driving Auto to earn his livelihood. During his profession, he came in contact with bad elements. In order to meet his financial requirements, he started supplying the narcotics drugs/ substances.
  2. Accused Sikander @ Sonu has studied upto 10th standard. He was residing in Vishwas Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and was involved in sale/supply of illicit liquor. Previously, he has been arrested in four cases of Excise Act at PS Dabri. He shifted his residence at Jwala Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi to hide himself from the access of local police.
