ONE ARRESTED WITH ILLEGAL ARMS AND AMMUNITION

With the arrest of Kale @ Brij Mohan, aged 34 years r/o Karol Bagh, Delhi, the staff of PS Prasad Nagar, Central District has foiled a bid to commit some grave offence and recovered a country made pistol with 6 cartridges from his possession.
INCIDENT AND THE TEAM
On the night intervening 15/16.07.18, an information was received that one person who is carrying a country made pistol and  ammunition is present in Rajendra Place area and if a raid is immediately conducted, he could be arrested alongwith the illegal weapon.
On this a team consisting of Inspr Sanjay Kr. Singh, ATO/Prasad Nagar, SI Sohan Lal, SI Mahipal, HC Satya Narain and Ct Vasudev was immediately formed under the supervision of Inspr Vikramjit Singh, SHO/Prasad Nagar.
A raid was immediately conducted at Rajendra Place and Kale @ Brij Mohan above was apprehended on the pointing out of the informer whose cursory search was carried out during which a sophisticated country made pistol alongwith magazine loaded with 6 live cartridges of 7.65 bore was recovered from his possession. A case of 25 Arms Act was immediately registered at PS Parasd Nagar and the accused was arrested.
INTERROGATION
Accused Kale @ Brij Mohan was subjected to sustained interrogation in which it was revealed that the accused is a small time property dealer who developed some personal enmity and in order to settle the same he had procured the weapon. He also disclosed about the source from where he had procured the weapon which is being verified. Further investigation is in progress.

  • Six live cartridges (7.65 bore).

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
