INTERSTATE GANGSTER “GABBAR” OF DELHI ARRESTED BY IGIS/DWARKA

Avdesh @ Gabbar is a dreaded shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi and Shiva Suri gang. Jumped parole in a sensational double murder case of PS Bindapur, Delhi in 2016. On 18.01.2018, he had absconded from a guesthouse in Shikohabad, UP after cross firing with UP Police resulting in bullet injuries to two police Constables. He is a close associate of Ravinder @ Kali Rajput nabbed by UP Police three days ago.
INTRODUCTION: The Inter-border Gangs Investigation Squad of Crime Branch, Dwarka has arrested an interstate gangster Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar (aged 29 years) r/o Jain Colony Part-1, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, who was a parole jumper and was wanted in several criminal cases including a recent sensational shootout case of Shikohabad, UP in which he had fled away from a guesthouse during cross firing with UP Police on 18.01.2018. One of the gangsters and two police Constables sustained bullet injuries during the encounter. The accused Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar is a shooter of Shiva Suri gang of Delhi and interstate dreaded gang of Lawrence Bishnoi of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.       
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION
ASI Bijender Kumar posted in the IGIS, Crime Branch received a secret information that the accused Avdesh @ Gabbar who is wanted in a series of criminal cases would come to Nala Road, between Najafgarh-Kakrola to meet his associate on 20.01.2018. This information was further developed and a core team of Crime Branch under close supervision of ACP Aditya Gautam led by Insp. PC Khanduri comprising SIs Data Ram, Sanjay, Rohit, ASIs Bijender, Dinesh, Mehak Singh, Vinod, Yudhvir, HCs Rajeev Sahrawat, Ramkumar, Ajeet, Anil and Consts. Pravindra Malik and Paramjeet Singh was constituted to nab the criminal. The Crime Branch team successfully overpowered the accused at his expected place of arrival, while he tried to flee away after a scuffle and also whipped out his country-made pistol towards police party. A case under appropriate sections of law was registered and the accused was arrested.                 
INTERROGATION, DISCLOSURE & PROFILE
The accused Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar belongs to a middle class family residing in Uttam Nagar area and has studied upto 12th standard. His father is a property dealer by profession. In 2008, he came in contact with Shiva Suri, a dreaded gangster of the area and joined his gang in order to earn quick and easy money. Shiva Suri gang is active in West, South-West and Dwarka Districts in Delhi and indulges in extortion from businessmen and trades.  
Shiva Suri gang had rivalry with Bijender @ Bidi gang over extortion money in the area. In order to dominate in the area, Shiva Suri gang planned to eliminate Bijender @ Bidi and on 11.03.2015, the accused Avdesh Yadav, Shiva Suri, Pradeep Rana and Nitin Narula @ Appu shot dead Bijender @ Bidi and his associate Ashu Tomar after inviting them to their house for resolving the disputes.   
In this sensational double murder case, both the accused persons Shiva Suri and Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar were arrested by Special Cell on 14.03.2015 and were lodged in jail.
In September-2016, the accused Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar was released from jail on parole for his wife’s treatment, but did not surrender and absconded to his native place in Shikohabad, UP. He was subsequently declared a Proclaimed Offender by the trial courts.
In Shikohabad, the accused Avdesh Yadav @ Gabbar came in contact with one Ravinder @ Kali Rajput, who was a sharpshooter of the dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi gang and was one of the most wanted gangsters of Punjab and Haryana. The gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi is a dreaded gangster that indulged in several cases of murder, extortion etc. and has presently taken over the command of slain gangster Anandpal Gujjar’s gang.
In January-2018, the accused person Avdesh @ Gabbar was planning a murder in Shikohabad alongwith his associates Ravinder @ Kali Rajput, Aakash Yadav and Bunty at a guest house. UP police got a tip off and raided the guesthouse on 18th January-2018, but the accused Avdesh @ Gabbar managed to flee from the guest house with his associates Aakash Yadav and Bunty after firing at the police party. His associate sharp shooter Ravinder @ Kali Rajput and two police constables of UP Police sustained bullet injuries during the shootout and Kali was arrested. After this incident several teams of Delhi and UP Police have been hunting for the absconding accused persons.

Concerned authorities have been informed regarding arrest of the accused person. Raids are being conducted to nab remaining absconding members of the gang. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
