TWO NOTORIUOS ROBBERS ARRESTED BY SWAROOP NAGAR POLICE AND RECOVERED ROBBED RS. 79,020/- FROM THEIR POSSESSION

With the arrest of two accused persons namely (1) Vijay R/o Delhi  and (2) Suresh r/o Delhi SWAROOP NAGAR POLICE has successfully solved a robbery case registered vide FIR No. 259/17 dated 05.09.2017 u/s. 392/201/34 IPC PS Swaroop Nagar and motor cycle used in commission of crime was  also recovered from this possession.

INCIDENT / OPERATION / INVESTIGATION:-
On 05/09/2017 Smt. Rajni Sharma r/o Nathupura, Delhi reported that she went to withdraw the cash from Bank of Baroda, Burari, Delhi and after taking cash of Rs. 95,000/- while she was returning to her home and reached near Pili Kothi Nathupura, main stand, two boys came on Motor Cycle (Number not known) and robbed her bag containing Rs. 95,000/- one checque book, pass book & Purse forcefully. Keeping in view the gravity of the matter, a team was constituted to nab the accused persons and recovered the robbed cash. The CCTV Footage was obtained from the locality and nearby the place of occurance and analysed. The team started the search of the accused persons. On 08.09.2017, on the basis of secret information and as well as with the help of a lady “Police Mitra” of the area the team conducted many raids at suspected hideouts and overpower the above accused persons. On the sustained interrogation they accepted their involvement in commission of crime and accused Vijay told that Suresh was present inside the bank Burari, Delhi and he saw a woman taking cash from the bank. Thereafter he came outside the bank and told to him about this fact. The woman came out from the bank and sit in Gramin Sewa Bus. The followed the bus on motor cycle up to Nathupura Bus Stand. After dropping from bus the woman went in a street and they robbed the bag from her forcefully and fled away on motor cycle. During the course of investigation a sum of Rs. 79,020/- was recovered out of robbed Rs. 95,000/- The motor cycle used in commission of crime was also recovered from their possession.
PROFILE AND MODUS OPERANDI:-

Both the above mentioned persons were deeply interrogated who revealed that they are habitual to commit the crime. On 05.09.2017 they chosen their target to the lady and robbed the bag of cash. Both are belong to middle class family. Vijay studied up to 2th standard.  Suresh studied up to 2th standard and married. They spent the remaining amount in their enjoyment.


TEAM CONSTITUTED:-
Under the close supervision of Sh. Rakesh Kumar Tyagi, ACP/Jh. Puri, immediately a team was constituted under the direction of Insp. Bharat Ram, SHO/Swaroop Nagar comprising SI Shashi Kumar, HC Sunil Kumar No. 2239/NW, Ct. Abhishek No.1730/NW, Const. Ankur No. 1652/NW and Ct. Dinesh No. 2118/NW. The team swing into action and arrested the above robbers.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
