A GANG OF ROBBERS ARRESTED

ROBBED AMOUNT RS 7.73 LAKH RECOVERED
4 accused persons namely Vikram aged 20 years, Dalip @ Jalebi  aged 20 years, Sheikh Ramjan aged 20 years, Deepak aged 22 years have been arrested  and 2 JCLs apprehended by  the staff of PS Mahindra Park, North-West District and worked out a case of robbery within hours and recovered the robbed amount.  
BRIEF FACTS:
      On 20.09.17 at about 8:40 PM, the complainant along with his peon namely Rakesh was returning home from his shop carrying a bag containing Rs. 1450000/- cash, one mobile phone, some other important documents and ledger books. As they came out of the shop situated at New Sabji Mandi, Azadpur and started walking towards main service road through the narrow street, two boys came, one of them threatened the complainant to hand over the bag at knife point. As the complainant resisted, he attacked the complainant and given knife blow and robbed away the bag containing cash from the complainant and fled away on M/Cycle with their third associate. Fortunately, the complainant managed to escape. Accordingly a case vide FIR No. 337/17, dated 21.09.2017 U/S 392/397/34 IPC P.S. Mahendra Park, Delhi was registered and the investigation was taken up.
INVESTIGATION AND ARREST:
During the course of investigation it came out that one of the JCL who used to work as peon for the  complainant around two months back was identified by the complainant. As per the technical surveillance and human intelligence, different places were raided during the intervening night of 20-21 September to nab the accused persons. The painstaking effort bore fruit when the team succeeded in arrest of 4 accused persons and 2 JCLs from H-2 Block, Jahangir Puri and recovered the robbed amount Rs. 773000/- Cash from their possession.

  A team under the supervision of Sh. Utkrisht Prasoon, IPS, ACP/Shalimar Bagh led by Insp. Ajay Sharma, SHO/Mahindra Park consisting of Inspr. Mukesh Kumar, SI Manoj Kumar (I/C PP N.S. Mandi), ASI Devender Kumar, ASI Arvind Kumar, Ct. Rohtash, Ct. Suresh, Ct. Nitin, and Ct. Aalok was constituted.

  1. Vikram aged 20 years r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
  2. Dalip @ Jalebi  aged 20 years r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
  3. Sheikh Ramjan aged 20 years r/o H-Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
  4. Deepak aged 22 years r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

RECOVERY :
  1. Rs 773000 Cash, bag containing mobile phone and the keys of the shop.
  2. One dragger from the possession of accused Sheikh Ramjan.
Further investigation of the case is in progress. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused person namely Sunil and to recover the remaining robbed amount.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
