DRUG TRAFFICKER ARRESTED

  • 800 GRAM OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN RECOVERED.
  • ARRESTED PERSON CARRIED HEROIN FROM LONI, GHAZIABAD, FOR SUPPLY IN DELHI AND NCR.
Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch has busted a gang of interstate drug peddler with the arrest of one accused person and recovered 800 Gram of fine quality Heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 145/2017, dt. 30.08.2017, u/s 21 NDPS Act, P. S. Crime Branch, Delhi, has been registered in this regard.
Accused: - Mohd. Irshad S/o Mohd. Naseem R/o Gali No.3,Budh Bazar, Vivek Vihar, Loni, Ghaziabad,UP. (23 yrs)
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-
An information was received by SI Vinod Kumar, on 29.08.2017 that one person namely, Mohd. Irshad is involved in supply of Heroin in Delhi and NCR after procuring it from Loni, Ghaziabad. The information was further developed that he would come Near Khajuri Golchakkar, Bus stand, towards Wazirabad, Delhi between 09:45 PM to 10:15 PM, for supplying huge consignment of Heroin to someone.
On the basis of this information, a team comprising of officials of the Crime Branch led by Insp. Rajni Kant Sharma consisting of SI Vinod Kumar, HC Vikas Const. Shani was constituted under the supervision ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, to nab the accused. A trap was laid Near Khajuri Golchakkar, Bus stand, and one Mohd. Irshad was apprehended on the instance of the informer. During his search, 800 Gram Heroin was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 145/17 dated 30.07.17, u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.
INTERROGATION:-

Mohd. Irshad s/o Mohd. Yaseen has three brothers and three sisters. His family hails from Gulawathi, Bulandsahar, UP. His family came to Loni, when he was 4 years old. His parents are labourers by profession. He had studied up to 3rd standard. He used to work as auto driver. The greed to earn quick and easy money brought him in contact with his sisters-in-law and he started supplying Heroin in Delhi after procuring it from Sisters- in- law. He procured the recovered heroin from them to supply the same to one Jahanaara of Loni but he was arrested by police.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
