BLIND MURDER CASE WORKED OUT

With the arrest of accused person namely Love AKA Labbu and apprehension of JCL the joint team of North-West District has worked out a blind murder case registered at PS Mahindra Park.  

BRIEF FACTS:
On 13.09.17, an information was received regarding injury by gunshot to an Assistant Security Officer of APMC namely Sumer Singh in Fruit Mandi Azadpur, when he was performing his duty. The injured was hospitalized in Max Hospital by his colleagues and declared brought dead. During the Post Mortem, a bullet was found in the head of the deceased. Accordingly A case vide FIR No. 322/17 u/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Mahendra Park and investigation was taken up.

TEAM:
A joint team of North-west District was formed under the supervision of Add.DCP-I/NWD & overall supervision of the undersigned; led by Sh. Utkrisht Prasoon, IPS, ACP/S.Bagh consisting of Sh. Ramesh Kumar, ACP/OPS./NW, Sh. Rakesh Tyagi, ACP J/Puri, Inspector Ajay Sharma, SHO/M.Park, Inspector Mukesh Kumar (Bravo/M.Park), Inspector Sunil Kumar AATS, SI Manoj Kumar (I/C PP N.S. Mandi), SI Akhilesh, ASI Narayan, HC Anil, HC Nitin, CT Ajeet, Ct Rohtash, Ct Pardeep, Ct Harjeet, Ct Sombir, Ct Naveen and the investigation of the case was taken up.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST
During the course of investigation, a large number of guards, palledars, hawkers and other stakeholders of Azadpur Mandi were examined and CCTV footage was also minutely analyzed as well. On analysis of CCTV footage, two persons were identified, they entered into Mandi from the Peer Baba Gate and were seen running from the spot after the incident. The footage was shown to the staff with direction to seek the help from public to identify the suspects in nearby cluster areas. After persistent efforts, Beat Ct. Ajeet identified one of the suspects namely Love AKA Labbu r/o K-Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and nabbed him. During interrogation he revealed the involvement of a JCL in the crime. Later on his instance the JCL involved in the crime was also apprehended and weapon of offence & vehicle used in the crime was also recovered from them.
           During further investigation it revealed that the father of JCL is a road side vendor in Azadpur fruit Mandi who sells eatery items. As the father of JCL was not well, so the JCL came to Mandi in place of his father to sell eatery items on cycle rickshaw. Deceased Sumer Singh did not allow him to enter the Mandi as there was heavy traffic jam and he was entering from wrong side. The JCL tried to enter the Mandi which triggered heated arguments between them and the deceased had also not only slapped him but also put danda in the wheel of his rickshaw and ousted him from the Mandi. The accused called his father and went back to his house.

In the evening the JCL shared this incident with his friend Love AKA Labbu and they decided to take revenge of the same. They also vowed that they would not let the deceased to see next morning. Accordingly the next morning i.e. 13/09/17, they reached Mandi on the Pulsar M/Cycle of JCL and the accused Love AKA Labbu arranged the weapon of offence i.e. country made small katta. They both went inside the Mandi on foot while their m/cycle was parked on the service road near Peer baba gate. The accused and JCL went in search of the deceased Sumer. They found the deceased near Ganna Mandi. The accused JCL took the katta from the co-accused Lave @ Labbu and shot a bullet from a close range on the deceased Sumer from behind. After firing, JCL ran out of the Mandi while Love @ Labbu went of the Mandi in brisk walking.
                   
ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1. Love AKA Labbu r/o K Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
RECOVERY:

  1. One Desi Katta along with one empty cartridge.
  2. One Pulsar Motor Cycle bearing No. DL-8S-AQ-9898.
  3. One towel used by the accused Love @ Labbu.
