Accused wanted in sensational shootout case dated 14.07.2017 of PS Uchain, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan arrested by Special Staff, Distt. South East


 Accused wanted in sensational shootout case dated 14.07.2017 of PS Uchain, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan arrested by Special Staff, Distt. South East, Madangir, New Delhi.
  Two persons were shot dead and 14 persons sustained severe injuries by gunshots and axes in the incident.
  Dispute between two groups in Vilanchatpura, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan over 2 bigha agricultural land was the cause of the incident.      

INTRODUCTION

                The team of Special Staff, South East Distt. has arrested an accused Sikandar r/o J J Camp, Tigri, New Delhi, age 27 years, who is wanted in sensational shoot out case of PS Uchain,District Bharatpur, Rajasthan in which two persons were shot dead and about 15 persons sustained severe bullet injuries in a property dispute over 2 Bigha agricultural land in Vilanchatpura, Village Pichoona, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

INCIDENT
               
               On 14.07.2017 at around 4-5 pm, a sensational incident of shootout took place in the fields of Vilanchatpura,Village Pichoona, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan, when a mob of about 60-65 persons equipped with guns, pistols, revolvers, axes and iron rods, etc. assaulted another group in a property dispute over 2 bigha agricultural land, while they were ploughing the field. In that incident, hundreds of rounds were fired by the assailants and several persons sustained severe injuries and two persons were shot dead. On this, a case u/s147/148/149/302/307/336/341/ 427/447 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act vide FIR No. 160/17, dated 15.07.2017 was registered at PS Uchain and several teams were constituted to nab the culprits. 

INFORMATION, TEAM& OPERATION

               It had been learnt that the group of the assailants was headed by one Shivlal and most of them were bootleggers residents of Tigri, Khanpur & UttamNagar areas in Delhi and all had gone to Vilanchatpura in the early morning hours of 14.07.2017. They are also frequently visitors in the South-East district area.  On receiving the information, sources were deployed in the area by Special Staff, South East Distt.

                On 22.09.2017, ASI Dayanand posted in Special Staff/SED, New Delhi received secret information that one of the accused namely Sikandar who is resident of Tigri, New Delhi used to visit in the area of village Tughalkabad, New Delhi. This information was further developed and shared with senior officers. On this, a team of Special Staff under close supervision of ACP K. P. Singh and led by Inspr. Rajender Kumar & comprising SIs Parvesh Kasana, Yogesh Tanwar, Ajay Katewa, Yogesh Sharma,  ASI Dayanand, HC Naresh, HC Shekhar, Ct Jitender, Ct. Amit, Ct. Rahul was constituted to nab the criminals.

                After diligent field work, the team of Special Staff/SED successfully apprehended one of the accused Sikandar from Jungle opposite Durga Mandir, Bengali Colony, Village Tughalqabad, New Delhi on 22.09.2017.  During search a Desi Katta and one live cartridge were also recovered from the possession of accused Sikandar.  On interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the crime and subsequently a case u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act vide FIR No. 392/17, dated 22/09/2017 has been registered at PS Govindpuri, New Delhi in this regard.

INTERROGATION

                The accused Sikandar is residing in JJ Colony, Tigri, New Delhi, and had been engaged in bootlegging. He is a relative of Shiv Lal, Murari, ChamanLal, Bittoo and Chumma all sons of Devi Singh and basically residents of District Bharatpur, Rajasthan and presently residing in different areas of Delhi. Shiv Lal and his brothers had a property dispute over 2 bigha land in their native place Vilanchatpura, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan. In order to take possession over the land, the accused Babloo along with his associates Shiv Lal and Murari called his  30-35 associates,  and reached Vilanchatpura where the anti group of Subjan was ploughing the field. After some hot arguments between the parties, the accused persons started firing gunshots on members of anti group and started thrashing them with iron rods etc. In this incident two persons namely Rambir & Chandru were shot dead on the spot, while 14 other persons sustained severe injuries by gunshots and axes, etc. one accused person namely Babloo R/o Uttam Nagar was arrested by Crime Branch, Delhi  on 19/07/2017.

                After the incident, all the accused persons fled away from the spot and had been evading their arrest. 




PROFILE OF ACCUSED  
Sikandar r/o J J Camp, Tigri, New Delhi born in 1985 in District Bharatpur, Rajasthan.    He is illiterate and his family members came to Delhi in year 2001.  Previously he started to working in a cloth shop in Tigri Khanpur.  But due to his bad habits he left this job and started bootlegging with his family members. First time, he was arrested in case of excise act in year 2007.  In year 2007, he kidnapped a girl from Aligarh, UP and was arrested in this case vide U/s 363/328/376 PS Malviya Nagar, Delhi.
