316615 hoardings/banners/posters are removed in all over Delhi

  • 169  FIR’s/ DD entry  lodged against for violation of Model Code of Conduct
  • 454 number of unlicensed arms/weapons and 2639 number of cartridges/explosives/bombs seized
  • Total 1338.4081 Kg. Narcotics/Drugs are seized
  • 74415 persons booked under various sections of CRPC/DP Act
  • 950 FIR’s registered and 949 persons arrested under Excise Act
Till date, a total of 316615 hoardings/banners/posters have been  removed in all over Delhi out of which 30533 are removed from New Delhi Municipal Council, 43075 from East Delhi Municipal Corporation, 2411 from Delhi Cantonment Board, 134553 from South Delhi Municipal Corporation, and 106043 from North Delhi Municipal Corporation respectively.
Under violation of model code of conduct, up to 19.04.2019, a total of 169 FIR’s/DD entry have been lodged, out of which, Twenty is against Aam Aadmi Party                        (12 FIR’s and 8 DD entry), Twenty Three against Bhartiya Janata Party (12 FIR’s and 11 DD entry), Eight against Congress Party (3 FIR’s and 5 DD entry), One against Bahujan Samaj Party (1 FIR) and one against Samajwadi Party (1 DD entry), two  against CPI (M) (I FIR’s and 01 DD entry) and 114 (110 FIR’s and 4 DD Entry) are against under the head of others/non-political.
343 FIR’s have been registered under Arms Act, in which 385 persons are arrested and 1338.4081 Kg. Narcotics/Drugs are seized respectively .Till date cash of Rs 2,82,22,850/- has been seized by SST/FST, 454 numbers of unlicensed arms/weapons seized and 2639 numbers of cartridges/explosives/bombs seized. Whereas, 4593 licensed arms deposited, 74415 persons have been booked under various sections of CRPC/Delhi Police Act, as preventive action measures.
Till Date, 1373 bottles, 103 Half, 142793 quarters of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and 949 bottles, 1231 Half, 272679 quarters of Country liquor and 6963 bottles beer were seized. A total number of 950 FIR’s have been registered in Excise Act and 949 persons are arrested in Excise Act.  
As on date (19.04.2019), 29 cases are recorded against the violation in other cases (misuse of vehicles, violation of loudspeakers, illegal meetings and gratification of electors, etc).

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
