FIVE BURGLARS/THIEVES ARRESTED IN TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS

  • NOTORIOUS BC OF PUNJABI BAGH ARRESTED

In order to keep check on the increased incidents of night  burglaries and auto-thefts and to arrest the criminals involved in these incidents, several teams were formed in West District.  The alert and vigilant members of the two teams i.e. (i) The team of AATS West District and (ii) Team of PS Kirti Nagar have arrested Five Notorious Burglars/Thieves in two separate cases, and recovered one stolen scooty, 15 High-End mobile phones, one Samsung LED TV.  With their arrest, 7 cases of House Theft, Theft and Auto lifting have been worked out.

  1. AATS WEST

In the first incident, the Team of AATS West District has arrested two notorious burglars and has recovered one stolen scooty, 5 High-end Mobile Phones & one Samsung LED TV from their possession.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
  1. Ram, Age-28 yrs, S/o Phool Singh R/o A-556, JJ Colony, Madipur, Delhi,. He is a notorious BC of PS Punjabi Bagh and is previously involved in 7 cases.
  2. Gautam, Age-27 yrs, S/o Jai Singh R/o A-51C, JJ Colony, Madipur, Delhi. He is a notorious Burglar and is previously involved in 8 cases.

RECOVERY
1. One White colour Honda scooty having no.DL4CF 8275.
2. One Samsung LED TV 32 inch
3. 05 Android Smart Mobile Phones

INCIDENT AND INFORMATION

The team of Anti Auto Theft Squad of West District took initiative to develop information about such criminals/gangs indulged in these incidents. Members of the team of AATS visited the places of occurrence and met the victims. Further, the team focused on the verification of recent jail bail releases.
On 18.09.18 an incident of house theft occurred in the area of PS Khyala and the team of AATS collected CCTV footages from there and the said footage was circulated to secret informers etc. The persistent efforts of the team bore fruits and HC Rashid Khan got a lead, which was developed and verified.
On 30/09/2018, information was received that both the accused persons would visit Mayapuri area in order to commit a crime. Immediately, a team comprising SI Mohit, ASI Om Prakash, ASI Trilochan, ASI Kirori,  HC Rashid Khan, Ct Lalit Kumar, Ct Sunil and Ct. Anil Kumar led by Inspr. Manoj Kumar and under overall supervision of Sh. Ishwar Singh, ACP/Operation Cell/West District was constituted to nab the accused. Accordingly, a trap was laid and both the accused persons were arrested on a white colour Honda scooty bearing No.DL4CF-8275. The details of said sccoty were checked on ZIPNET and this sccoty was found to be stolen vide E-FIR No.033204/18, dated-20/09/18, u/s 379 IPC, P.S. Paschim Vihar, Delhi. The pillion rider Gautam was carrying a Samsung LED TV 32 inch, which was later on found to be stolen from the area of PS Khayla. On their cursory search, 05 Mobile phones found to be stolen from the areas of PSs Janakpuri, Moti Nagar, Hari Nagar, and Punjabi Bagh were also recovered.  With their arrest, 06 cases of Auto Theft, Burglary and theft have been worked out.
II.  PS Kirti Nagar
A Gang of three desperate pickpockets indulged in pick-pocketing of expensive handsets at high profile functions was busted by the alert team of PS Kirti Nagar District West. 10 Expensive Mobile Handsets stolen at the opening ceremony of “Kalyan Jewellers” which was inaugurated by Super Star Abhitabh Bachchan have been recovered.

INCIDENT AND INFORMATION

To curb the incidents of street crime, team of PS Kirti Nagar comprising of SI Yogesh, ASI Ashok, HC Ashok, HC Sanjeev, HC Resham, Ct Sandeep & Ct. Kuldeep under the supervision of Sh Anil Kumar SHO Kirti Nagar and overall supervision of Sh Raman Lamba ACP Punjabi Bagh was conducting checking of vehicles at Police Picket, Raju Dhaba, Rama Road, Maya Puri Chowk Side on 28.09.18.  During checking, the team noticed and stopped one SX4 White colour car with defective number plate. On cursory checking, 10 mobile phones were recovered from the dashboard of the said car. On enquiry, they informed that they had stolen the said mobiles from the inauguration ceremony of Kalyan Jewellers, INA Market, which was inaugurated by Super Star Amitabh Bachchan. One of the Mobile Phones was found to be stolen vide E-FIR No 001114/18, U/s 379 IPC, PS  Hauz khas Delhi. The accused persons were arrested u/s 41.1 D CrPC and sent to JC. Efforts are being made to link other mobile phones.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
